Dwarf:

1/ Stand your ground - increase to knock and repel by how much?
2/ Cast iron stomach - how much damage resistance to DoT do i get?

GF Skills:

1/ Mark? - how much lower damage resistance does the enemy take?
2/ Tide of Iron - How much lower damage resistance does the enemy take?

read allot of post im lvl 28 and loving this class

- yes it sucks im not getting as much aggro
- mark needs to be usable when in guard mode and remove the animation for quicker apply
- guard mode needs to be quicker animation
- fix aggro, how can i be defensive when i need to be offensive to build aggro

all in all i built him as a true tank, coupled him with a man-at-arms to have another tank beside me. then i geared him up with items with high defense/deflection/regeneration/life steal and tank/heal myself all day long, run most dungeons without even using a potion. of course its still early in the game and things seem easy so far.

It's stated on the WIKI that the "Stand your ground" does not work in PvE! It only works in PvP vs. players.

Cast iron stomach - Appears to be bugged.

oh man i wish i knew that lol, i was looking to restart since im still early in the game and it doesnt take long to get to lvl 20+, i didnt want to pay to respect and i know i wasted points on useless feats and powers.

so what race should i use then, i was thinking human.

Cant go wrong with Human for tanking. Cryptic takes a while to fix things but if Dwarf's Stand your ground starts to work in PVE like it does in PVP, it will be fantastic. THe dot reduction not so much; not to many mobs use dots on you. BUt Dwarf gets Str/Con which is the bread and butter of Tanking (Dex does not hurt either) When you get to higher levels I still recommend Frontline Surge and Enforced threat. Villian's Menace and Fighter's recovery are also fantastic dailys. As of right now, I'm not so sure the protector tree, even witht he bufss is worth taking over the Conqueror. Honestly the best two things in that tree are right in the front of it: 5% parry and 5 more AC (For 2.5 additional DR not effected at all by your defence score)

Other good ones are: Supremacy of Steel, Into the Frey (THis help the party get alot of AP and also helps you side step the red while blocking) Iron warrior the jury is still out on.

Only dot I can think of is Lair of the Mad Dragon and to be honest it really isn't a problem if Cast Iron is finally work it will be even more of a joke.
