Hello,

I'd like to report many of the bugs on Control Wizards.
If you guys find anymore, please answer this thread, and i ll add them to the list when relevant.

Bugs :
Ray of Enf : Still full CD when slotted on mastery (CD not affected by stats, feats or items)

Shard of Endless Avalanche :
- Does not crit when explode on 2 ennemies
- Does not crit when passing over one ennemy, pushing him down and damaging him
- can only crit when allowed to explode by itself
- Action Point Gain inconsistent or non-existent
- on Mastery slot, is said to be dropped anywhere, and will knock prone targetS! it lands on. But if it lands on more than one target, it immediately explode, no knocking prone. So either remove plural or make sure we can the knock prone then the explosion.

Icy Terrain :
- not considered a control spell by High Vizier set, but considered a control spell by Archmage set
- Action Points Gain inconsistent or non-existent


High Vizier Set :
- Slow time now only gives 450 def bonus, even when touching more than one target. Maybe the solution found to avoid getting more than one stack of arcane mastery when casting it is at base of problem.
I notify this because all other AOE control spells give 450 Def bonus per target hit, so should slow time !

- We still don't know how long the buff stays on us or target (not given in description)


Spells :
- We still don't know which spells are control spells
- We still don't know which spells are AOE spells
- We still don't know how long our spells last
- We still don't know the size of our AOEs

- Orb of imposition still indicate that control spells get +5% duration even when maxed at 3 points (and should be at 15%)

- Evocation still indicates that AOE spells get +5% dmg even when maxed at 3 points (and should be at 15%)

- We still don't know the size of AOE effect of chilling cloud At-Will

- Storm Fury : We still don't know how much dmg it does and the rate at which it procs

- Storm Spell : Still don't know how much dmg it does

- Storm pillar At-Will : Still indicate a ridiculously low amount of DMG, inconsistent with reality. But only does "real lvl-based" dmg when fully charged"

- All spells that leave targets prone don't indicate for how long they are prone

- RoE : Is Said to decrease dmg and mitigation of target. But no value is given for dmg

- Icy rays : "Briefly" stuns target. How briefly ?

- Maelstrom of Chaos : is said to "Greatly reduce dmg" while casting. how much is that ? does it add armor ? dmg resistance ? can this dmg reducing buff be DEbuffed by spells (such as RoE or other mitigation affecting spells) ? Does it affect necrotic dmg as well ?
Because casting it in the middle of a party of ppl using greater plague fire, greater tenebrous, and using Armor and Mitigation debuffs, if the "Greatly reduce dmg" is affected by all that or cannot stop certain types of dmg, there really is no point to a channeling daily !

- Eye of the storm : Still indicate that it will last 4 Seconds even when maxed out to 3 points and should be 8 seconds.


I actually fail to see where bugs have been Fixed for CW. Aside from some nerfs on our debuffs, and our Dps is now the lowest of all classes (not counting the dps done by pushing mobs off the edge), and the small positive bug on slow time, everything i have checked is still buggy, not explained, not working as it should ...

I went to the trouble of making this as clear as possible, I hope this is actually read by someone who can relay.

    Thought you did a pretty good job. My build doesn't use a lot of those spells, but you've taken time to point out some things to consider. Glad I didn't train Orb of Imposition :D

    of course you don't use these spells very much in CW builds ...
    Precisely because all CW are pushed into the same builds, since most of our spells are either useless/not working as intended. Therefore pushing us to all use the same spells and all be clones of each other ...

    This is why i try to point out the many bugs on our spells on Test Shard, so they may be fixed and alternative CW builds may flourish ..

    Though i'm surprised that you don't use RoE

    Tiefling racial does not stack with the CW feat that does increased damage on targets below 30% health. If you're a Tiefling CW, it's a total waste of points to take that feat.
    How Cryptic trolls the entire NWO playerbase: 9200 GS listed for CN, implying anyone who needs more has no skill.

    OMG....

    So the only way to surrive for a CW is to get the High Vizier set with the defense bonus.
    Problem is, ITS BUGGED.

    - High Vizier Set: Reports of Chill Strike not proccing set bonus in Tab slot.

    - High Vizier Set: Proc not working correctly with Steal Time; only works on one target even if multiple targets are hit by the power.

    - High Vizier Set: Reported not to proc with Icy Terrain now.


    Also Tiefling bug with some feats... Good I spent money on repsect (after the free one) and spent max points on that one.

    Not to forget the Arcane Masetry Bug atm, which doenst apply stakcs on spells like Shield
    and Stacks just getting lost 2 secs after leaving Combat instead of 10 secs

    Recharge Speed Increase doesnt work for RoE in mastery to prevent stacking RoE more than 2 times for a single CW.
    Otherwise it would end up with CWs going for Recharge Speed Increase to stack RoE endless.

    look man NEVERWINTER as a whole is a bug! I want to take a RAID can to the whole mechanics! Castle Never is Named Never! Cause you never get to play it as a dungeon... everyone just jumps straight through it getting free rings, belts, and items. The game as a whole in pve is a wipe! Too many ppl banking diamonds and zen off the free items in dungeons. after spending 200.00 usd it really grosses me out.

    and yes as a cw your not even a mage, NONE and I mean NONE of the skills work correctly! Everytime i log in Im getting Nerfed! But no actual system mechanics are being changed.. Woo! look there's gauntlgrym but if you cant PLAY your class accordingly then what the ____ is the point.

    This games only usage is to FARM diamonds! period! Its gonna take Cryptic years to finally listen to folks.. i say Cryptic FIRE all your dev teams! They blantly need some real programmers, and support. One more thing.. Step off trying to market and sell us something when you cant even correctly fix the system mechanics.. nobody wants to buy anymore! FIX what you have first then continue!

    You forgot to mention the one where Nightmare Wizardry combat advantage debuff applies to you and your own freaking teammates. Seriously WTF?!

    As to Maelstrom it also cannot crit, tested it several times while EotS was active. Think that is a big enough bug to be reported as well.

    about ROF... it skill with charge counter affected by recharge rate.. i think u will cry when u see GF with unlimited charge and GWF with unlimited knockdown, TR will have perma 100% defense/DR reduce LOL, CW can just spam DOT to kill. why bother to have 3more skill button for?
    it's NOT Balanced at all.
