Seriously, it has been weeks and nothing has been done for us on the east coast. The only thing that has happened is even more congestion resulting in more lag. This isn't a difficult task, increase your bandwidth at your east coast Verizon peering points.
Prime time hours are near unplayable with 1 second packet loss every 10 seconds or so. I even resorted to getting a paid proxy... to proxy in from the east coast to an east coast server while I still reside on the east coast. It's stupid and needs to be fixed, I shouldn't have to pay 10 bucks a month to an outside company to enjoy your game.

I'm not an idiot. Peering is a pretty simple concept when discussing ISP traffic routing. I suggest a simple google search to get informed on the topic.

Yeah, I agree though. I think releasing this game, without the CLOSED BETA test fixes that should have been done, was a big mistake. I'd hate to think how many players (and the money they would have spent, because that is the most important part) were lost. Being prepared isn't a priority of theirs.

<whisper> Someone is going to come in and tell you it's beta, etc. Then someone is going to link this thread. http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?343082-Massively-soapbox-article-quot-The-Soft-Launch-Scam-quot Then you will have to defend what you wrote, because so many others are blind. Round and round. What a vicious circle.
