So currently im running both a trickster/half orc and Guarding Fighter/Dwarf but i find jumping back and forth between characters is a hassel and miss out on a lot of xp/AD etc when im not using the other character. so leaning towards one to be a primary
- both are lvl 27
- i don't have or plan on actually buying zen, unless it comes from converting astro diamonds, so getting a high lvl companion could be difficult early going
- along with solo, which is more compatible with party for scrimmish/dungeon
- will not be doing any PvP
* if GF? which race is prefered end game?
* if Trickster which race is prefered end game?
looking for which to pursue, im leaning more towards GF/half orc due to defense and tanking, but its tough to pass up on the sheer power of the trickster and stealth.
curious to know how ppl do end game. ive talked to friends and they have told me doing dungeons and some quest and bosses at end game without a tank are very tough
I like playing them both, so i dont have a preference but if one is more of an obvious choice for PvE end game build i will focus on that.
i want to focus on one, because as i mentioned i wont be actually buying any zen, so itll all come from converting AD, so i want to put my time spend into doing dailys/skrimmish/dungeon to earn AD.
so the time i put into one character could be time i put into earning more AD.
I like both classes and there both fun, i would hate to waste my time and find out that the trickster end game takes a beating and im always potting and dying.
TR only takes a beating if you don't know what you're doing. In normal mmos I could say "by the time you cap you should have a grasp of your limits" but I'd be wrong considering how quickly you can cap in this game.
how do the trickster and GF compare doing scrimmishs and dungeons? lately i have found that when i Que up for them
1/ if im a trickster it takes a long time to get it in, i was told that GF, clerics, control wizards have priority to help balance the game
2/ previous posting, friend mention several times they couldnt defeat some bosses cause there was no GF with them to tank
3/ when being a trickster ive been in a lot of scrimmish/dungeon where there is no GF and i take allot of aggro and it does get annoying being pummeled. i assume if this is the case it will get worse at lvl 50-60

GF has very little queue time because there's a lack of people playing as GF. I'm very often the only GF in a game.
trickster so far i havent had any issue, i run with "man at arms" companion, but i also know that i don't buy zen and i cant afford a "blue" level or any rare companion yet, so my man at arms will only be good for so long.
so curious to see how they both fare with a weak or no companion at all. usually game with companions in it, you become dependent on them or need them.

It only takes about a week to 1-60. (30 hours /played)

Edit: A dwarf is fine for a GF.
Multiple Personas, only 'One' me
"Why should one devolve themselves to try and entertain those of a lesser mindset around them?"
