Lifesteal?

I was wondering about lifesteal. Ive read on the forums that its worthless but I had to try it anyways. So my TR just hit 26 so i had to reequip her as all her gear was lvl 20 stuff. So i decided to try and get decent LS without gimping my other stats to much. I managed to get LS to 320ish. With just a little over 300 I was seeing heals for 15-30 a pop at a frequent rate. So my question is.

Did they change it? Because it seems like it would be worth it with the speed of TR attacks.

I know it's worthless in PvP due to big frequent hits.

    worthless? u serious? i heal 1/4 my hp with one flurry.
