Planning to buy new set, needs opinion (Guardian Fighter)

so hey guys i just want to ask if this is good or bad
Was looking for a set that can be good for both PVP and PVE
Tanky with a bit of damage

so in conclusion i was thinking about this

Grand Regent set + Ancient weapon&offhand set

So with this i should be able to get a boost on power without sacrificing Defense

Btw i plan to use this stones
Offense : Tenebrous
Defense: Radiant (HP)
Utility: Movement speed

    Not a bad setup. Itll be much lower DPS than timeless or stalwarts but pretty tanky. I personally dont like it as much as stalwarts but have been considering this set as well... Might pick it up and test it if its cheap enough on the AH...

    Ran the numbers really quick.

    Stalwarts:
    Recovery: 492
    Defense: 2825
    Deflection: 1148
    regen: 492
    Pwr: ~7500 (5 stacks)

    Grand Set:
    Recovery: 574
    Defense: 3058
    Deflection: 1271
    Regen: 574
    PWR (@5k defense) = 1000

    So with Grand you gain about 100 recovery, 200 defense, 100 deflection, 100 regen, for the cost of 6500 power... Ill take the power ^^
