Dialog Link

Just wondering is there a way to link an existing dialog from the Dialog Tree menu, to an Ojective in the Story menu?

For some reason, the dialog from one of my characters disappeared from the Story menu (but was still visable in the Dialog Tree menu) - The NPC dialog box was just empty??
So I re-wrote the dialog from the Advanced dialog tab on the Objective and saved it.

Now the old dialog has re-appeared in the Story Menu?

But the new dialog is still linked to the NPC on the Map menu..?

How can I link the Objective NPC to the new Dialog (I prefer the newer one now) in the Dialog Tree..??

I hope this is not too confusing..

    OK, maybe I was too confusing..

    I'll keep it simple...

    I want to connect an existing Dialog Tree to a dialog Objective.

    Can it be done?

    It's possible to re-link dialog trees started from story objective tabs. Let's say, change NPC A to NPC B or to object - this is done from story tab. Sadly, it's not possible to make a non-quest dialogue into quest dialogue. The only way for making quest dialogue into non-quest one, or vice versa, is to rebuild the whole dialog tree. :/

    That was my fear.

    There really needs to be a way to link dialog trees to Objectives, in much the same way Objectives are linked to NPC's.

    Really needs to go both ways..

    I can see I'm going to have to re-write that dialog... yet again....
