DPS Cleric.... armor pen?

not sure if this topic has been posted yet as I cant seem to find anything

trying a DPS build out of boredom and upcoming AS nerf.
has anyone tried stacking armor pen? If so what are the numbers/is it worth it?
what gear are you using, and would using full Grand Templar's set be the way to go or keep 2+2 with Miracle Healer?

Armor Penetration is generally the strongest DPS stat for any class, but it's also the only one that has real soft and hard caps:

Bosses 24% mitigation
Brutes 20% or 22% mitigation
Strikers and Leaders 16.2% or 18% mitigation
Minions 14.4% mitigation
Controllers and Ranged Strikers 12.8% or 14% mitigation

So if you're planning on AoE damage go for 14.4% ArP (there's lots of minions), and if you're going to focus the boss go for 24% ArP.
I've never tested Templar's Domain but it almost certainly adds +30% to your current Armor Penetration stat (most feats and bonuses work this way) so with that factored in you'd want one of these amounts:
1081 ArP +30% = 14.4%
1951 ArP +30% = 24%

...or somewhere in between. Abilities like Divine Glow stack will with Armor Penetration and wont affect how much of the stat you need.
