Seals system revamp...please

Let me start off with saying, I think the Seals are a great idea. I like the fact that even though you may not with the roll for boss drops, you still get a reward for participating.

With that being said, sadly, the seals aren't actually worth very much. By the time anyone saves up enough seals to buy something from the vendors, they have looted green items that are better than what they could purchase.

One of three things should happen (or even a combination of a couple).

First option) Convert the seals to a higher level seal type. Maybe 10 of one type of seal can equal one of the next stage higher. Maybe even use the enhancement fusing systems to fuse the seals to a higher level with a chance of a loss. or whatever, or something along those lines.

Second option) Sell better gear. It takes awhile to get enough seals, so put higher level items in the store. Atleast add enhancement slots to the items so we can make them better. If you want to make it worth while where people would buy them atleast 2 enhancment slots would be needed. Well, that is what I got from speaking with my friends.

Third option) Sell unique enhancements. Make special enhancements that can't normally be looted or crafted. Something like the one found on Greycloak's legacy items. This would be my preferred. Add one enhancement that affects multiple stats.

Everyone tell us your ideas, and maybe we could see a great change in the upcoming future. Cryptic does listen to their users. Keep up the great work Cryptic.

There may be other posts on this topic, I just didn't see any. I may just be blind though.

Even using the seals to purchase normal items would be nice. 1 lion seal for 5 identify scrolls is better than never spending them.

Seals have always simply been a way for me to make astrals, it would be nice if the gear from them was actually worth getting or that they could be exchanged for higher lvl seals though.

I have a GF that started doing the Idris Dungeon at lvl 36. This was all she would do to level to 38 cuz its fun. :cool: In that time she collected over 120 Manticore Seals. Half of the gear the the merchant can't be used til 38, the other half at 42. I only had to purchase one item from the merchant, the rest came as drops from dungeon. I'll probably get the lvl 42 gear from the Wolfie Dungeon which will leave me with a ton of unusable seals. :eek:
Hopefully we can use them for something else!!! :cool:
