if a neck piece doesn't have a cloak, then you cannot transmutate that piece into a cloak (change visual)

When servers merge, you will see TRs from Dragon open on you with path of blades in stealth while spamming CoS, destroying your block like it's nothing. Good luck with that.

lol? they just cap the point... or throw daggers.. if the do go to you they use impossible to catch take no dmg... then the go back to stealth an wait for impossible or daggers

Please move away from the point since your job as a GF got nullified by a TR.
If you managed to survive path of blades + CoS spam, I can spam impact shot x3 or hit ITC if you get in close and DF your butt back to spawn.
There are more OP TR builds than mine. There's a few here on Dragon that have builds that generate a lot of AP from being in stealth. They spam CoS in stealth, hit Bait & Switch and watch you get tricked, spam impact shot, hit shadow strike for more silliness and hit you with their new filled daily SE from stealth. Of course these builds are stacked in tenebrous as well.
Or how about the most broken TR build, the one that locks all your skills for 2+ min? People have already complained about it, look it up.
My only 2 cents (take it for what its worth) is that you would do much better if you opened with a threatening and then swung your scimmy 2x to get your full timeless build up AND plague fire fully applied. Even two scimmy swings would work too, THEN hit them with bull rush and THEN using lunging strike to catch them/finish them.
Think about the difference in combos.
Your current combo: Lunging strike - Bull Rush - Frontline all build up your damage and apply GPF and then you cleave to finish...
You can play more effectively applying GPF and timeless set and THEN WTFPWND them with encounters.. No reason to open with lunging strike.. This is more a general rule of thumb. If your playing with Stalwarts it doesnt matter as much but with timeless your wasting your encounters without having the benefit of timeless. You might as well get random pieces and forgo the timeless bonus.
Not trying to flame but you shouldnt go around, as a general rule of thumb, treating everyone you talk to on the forums like they know nothing about this game.. I would honestly wager that Envy knows atleast as much as you about PVP in this game. I base that on the fact you had to explain ALL the abilities you could potentially do to him along with the other strategies other people have done and normally (from experience) that hype "ideal" combo happens less than often in reality. You may be able to roll pugs with a ton of cheese, however, premade vs premade is a WHOLE different game... Its not about who can cheese better its about the synergy of the group...
Most players in this game know about the 2min lock, most players who PVP know about rogue cheese tene builds as well as GF cheese tene builds...
Just wait and see when the servers merge, you guys can 1v1 eachother (which wont prove much tbqh) and then can go from there...
At-wills don't stack Timeless.

There is no hype ideal combo that happens less than often in reality. I can take any CW from stealth spamming CoS and tene procs alone.
And why are you saying cheese tene builds when you copied a cheese build yourself from FearItsSelf? You couldn't even come up with your own build and had to copy someone else.
Regarding pugs, I was doing great against pugs with my 2.2k arm pen, 50% crit, overrun critical build, until I got hit with one skill from a GF and tene procced 5k damage and dropped me to 0.
So I rolled tene because the frontload burst is insane and outclasses all other enchants by a country mile. Premades vs premades is a whole different game you say? Of course it is, you're preaching to the choir.
If it's a premade vs premade, I roll with a perma-stealth build for back capping, distraction, and splitting up enemies at mid to come to me. With this build I'm still stacked in tenebrous and have 1.9k arm pen so I still hit hard.
Not only that I watch my opponents when I pvp. I love it when GF's block goes bugged or when GWF's Unstoppable goes bugged through the whole match, it's funny.
About the 2min lock it's been patched on the preview server and plague fire got hit with the nerf bat so less tene builds now.
Believe me I try to save my lunging strike so I can use it after a bull charge, but to me it all comes down to what's happening right at that moment... if someone is on a mount too far from me I will engage with the lunging strike and hopefully bull charge them against a wall and if I feel necessary pop my frontline, this is good advice tho thank you!
I have alot more videos but sadly I been sick last couple of days, and now got an infection on my finger so have to take it easy and rest.
Did not know this... Wow that is a huge negative for timeless then, I figured it was just any attack..
1) Ofcourse I use cheese tene build youd have to be insane not to. I also rolled stalwarts before I even knew about uncag3d and only full bought into tene (was torn for a while between arp/crit build and tene) until after I saw Envy pvp vids AND saw uncag3ds post. Then I committed to try it and glad I did too. There are not much in the way of "builds" since ANY GF is going to be speced 90% the same. I dont even have the same build as him, I use Envy's build so... your point?
2) If a tene proc hit you for 5k, where did the other 20k+ damage come from? I dont think its the tene proc that killed you but probably a knights challenged bull rush or lunging strike that crit you for 15k+ and THEN tene pushed it over the edge? Im always shocked when people say its the tene that killed you because I see crits all the time that are enough to 1 shot without tene procs (ok maybe ill have 1-2 but thats 1800 daamage on 20k?) Just sayin...
3) Yeah this issue pisses me off when I hold block and get dinged for 5k of my hp followed by a choke... REALLY annoying...
4) Plague did get the nerf bat, however, I think it can still proc tene enchants? I didnt see anything that breaks tene builds, it grants less arp than it used to?
EDIT: Patch notes are as follows "Plague Fire enchant: The Defense debuff portion of the enchantment's proc no longer stacks when applied by multiple players.
Plague Fire enchant: The Defense debuff no longer reduces the target's overall Damage Resistance, but instead properly reduces the Defense stat. The debuff is less powerful as a result."
So no change to tene proc at all, just changes the reduction of armor negated (makes plague fire not as good and actually buffs Gfs survivability?) And the debuff no longer stacks... Again buffs survivability for GFs?
This will just make Vorpal more expensive since more people will want that now and maybe even look at other weapon enchants...
Still reducing defense, a little damage, AND a DoT > anything else for tene builds from what I can tell... Or am I wrong here...
