What are you PVE'ers using in your defense slots?

Defense or lifesteal, or .. ?

Defense, without any enchants and non defensive gear we got like 700-800 defense (~16% mitigation), with 3x azure its 300-600 extra depending on the rank so 4-7% extra mitigation (or sth similar). Lifesteal should be high enough via the rest of the gear, at least I'm fine with what I got (~1k).

    I use deflect.

I had read somewhere that defense increases the amount of mitigation reduced by skills such as ray of enfeeblement based on someones testing. Not really concrete evidence that this happens, but enough for me to not both with defense since I mainly pvp on my rogue :). Besides I think deflect on rogues is pretty good with the 25% and all.

HP is a pretty good choice, probably better than deflect.

Doubt he will get hit by any CW's ray in PvE. However, ray reduces the mitigation of the target by 50%. Assuming he didn't got any armor pen and you got 15, you will have -35%. With lets say 25% mitigation (sth like 1.5k Def tho) its down to -25%. still hurts in PvP ofc.
