How long does it take to publish?

I just sent my first foundry quest to publish so i can test it at level 60. How long does this take? Is there any notification when it's done?

When you click on Publish, there will be a popup that says "Starting to publish..." while it's copying to the server. Then if you're on the Quest tab, it will say "Currently Publishing" in the top right corner. That's all server-side though, so you can exit the editor or whatever at that point.

When it's done, it will say "Published at yyyy-mm-dd". I'm sure there are a lot of factors which affect how long it takes (quest size and server load to name just two). Mine usually takes about 10 minutes.

Then I think there may be a wait after that before it's available for play. Not long though, maybe 15 minutes. And it will only be searchable using the NW code initially. At some point (days?) later it will be searchable by name and author.

Sometimes you will get an in-game mail saying it's been published, but I usually don't worry about those.

I find it helpful to add a version number in my Description, so I can tell which version is available in-game.
