In short, I have WAY behind on reviews that are piling up in my database. Check out the Master List here.

Wanting to try your hand at reviewing?

If you are interested in doing some reviews, but do not know where to start, then look no further. I have a list of over 50 quests ready to be reviewed. They are in a database, with everything you need to locate them and review them. I have a template designed to make the write up a little easier as well.

What will I get access too
  • Request Database - has the listing of all the quest submitted for review with all the info you need to make a choice. Including the authors player suggestions, combat and story emphasis, and points that the author wants to be focused on.
  • The Word Template - An optional format that you can use to do a review.
  • The Prep Form - A Mandatory form that helps me to keep track of all review submissions as well as helps the review formulate their thoughts.
  • The Spider Graph Exel sheet - A Mandatory form that helps me to keep track of all review submissions as well as helps the review formulate their thoughts.

What Will Happen to my review
You will get full credit for the reviews you do, you will be the one posting it to the Authors forum topic. Your review will show up on the Master Review list on my own forum topic, with your name as the Reviewer. It will also be saved in my database to be recalled at any time.

Why should I do a review for you instead of picking my own?
Visibility. I get somewhere between 5-10 requests a week, all going through the forum page your review will be listed on. Also, you have the option to tailor your review based on what you feel like playing. The review request form that Authors fill out and that you will see, has spaces for what the author thinks his quest best emphasizes. Looking for a combat quest? look for ones high in the combat category. Of course these are authors interpretations, so not 100% accurate.
You also have the option of working out review trades with the authors as well.

What is required of me?
  • There are a few things that are required. While you can review any quest at any time. To have access to my database and all the rest I have a few requirments.
  • That you fill out the Review Prep Form. This allows me to track reviews and keep them on hand.
  • That you include the spider graph in your review. You can use any photo service, I use Photobucket for all of mine.
  • That your review includes a link to the Master List posting, so others can see all of the other reviews done as well as submit their own requests.
  • You first try to pick from a un-reviewed request first. I keep the database updated with what was reviewed and what was not.

How do I sign up?
Just shoot me a PM. I will then work with you to get you access to everything you need. Or leave a response in this post and I will contact you.

Check out the Master List here.

Here are a few screenshots of what you will get access too.

The Exel document for the spider graph. This is mandatory to be included in the review as it is the signature of my reviews, however you can edit the colors or style however you want.

I may take you up on this offer down the road, although right now I've got a huge backlog of things to do. Just wanted to pop in to this thread and encourage people to play your quest (A Birthday Affair). It's really, really good.

Thanks! Still working on the second one when I get the chance, but I spend far to much time on the maps, and I kinda am waiting until the new Foundry update to fix the sound.
