Knights Valor CD is bugged.

Knights Valor seems to have a double CD. It ticks down 9 seconds then ticks another 9 seconds. This needs fixed ASAP. It will be a crucial skill and having it on a seemingly 18 second CD will not be good enough in T2's now that AS only lasts 10 seconds.

    It's not a double CD, I'm fairly certain it is their intended design mechanic at this point. The first time it ticks is while it is active. The second time it ticks is the actual cool down.

    No, it's a bugged CD. It ticks twice for 10secs. If the first set of ticks was for it being active then I could hit the encounter again after 10 seconds. I can not. It's a 20 second CD when the tool tip states otherwise.

    First it does the 6 seconds (for me) thats the duration of the skill. Then it does the actual cool down which is 11 seconds for me. So this seem to work as intended.

    It simply does not cool down while active, which after a ton of testing I think is their intention. I originally thought the same as you, that the power had a definite bug (it did have one, that just wasn't it).

    It could use an update to the tooltip 'Does not cool down while active'. The only bug that might still be there is if their intention was that we be able to hit it again while it's active to shut it off. We currently cannot do that.

    I see....well if it;s the devs intention for it not to cooldown while active they certainly need to change the tooltip and it makes the skill much less desirable.....20 seconds between knights valor....AS only lasts 10 seconds....
    I am getting more and more concerned each day as I learn new things about this patch. I guess we'll see when it goes live.

    It's not 20seconds between them however, it's 10up and 8ish down (get more recovery). I believe their intention is that skilled usage of the ability trumps spamming it on cool down.

    Which works out pretty well, also with the new shorter duration on Astral Shield there are many times if you spam it on CD you will splatter yourself all over the dungeon walls.

    It is indeed a weird skill with uptime then downtime, but the problem is that ALL the skills with multiple charges, like KV, or Griffon Strike, don't utilize ANY recovery bonus. All skills with multiple charges are bugged in this regard.

    KV doesn't have multiple charges and it's CD is reduced by recovery just fine. Or do you mean that recovery does not reduce the duration of the skill? (first timer is uptime so with rank3 it lasts 10 sec) the second timer (downtime) is reduced just fine.
