I'm not sure how patching works, and after 5-6 hours, it's still at 85% and hasn't moved.
So I suggest:
1) breaking up any patch into smaller chunks.
2) keeping the connection alive more consistently - my download is at 85%, it isn't moving, and my network monitor says there is NO data coming in. I mean at 1.5GB people are going to idle for a LONG time.
3) make the patching painless by allowing continuation if you stop in the middle. (I've read a few posts complaining that they have to do over again after the patch crashed)

I'm at #3, it'll take me like 3 seconds to download 35mb then it just slows down dramatically. I have a very fast internet. I stay around 75mbps download and 35mbps upload. The launcher that they're using is horrible. There shouldn't be any reason that this game should take hours to download 321mb. I know it's not on my end and that it's on their end. They just don't know how or don't want to fix the issue on their launcher/patcher.
The current patch isnt needed to play, so the pre patching of a large file is just fine. When the actual patch gets pushed its just that much more that you wont have to download.
