Ideas on simulating wind?

For my third mission I plan on having an ocean voyage. I have a decent ocean plane and ship, good sky... but it'd be nice to have flags whipping in the wind or something.

Any ideas on how to create that sense of wind?

Sound is one option, but I'd like something visual.

Of course the sound. Try turning some of the rotating particle effects at different angles. I am sure you could simulate sea spray coming over your bow. There is an NPC with a windblown hair animation if your looking for that Titanic I am the king of the world scene on the bow.

You could take a tip from Winnie-the-Pooh trying to steal some honey from the bees, and have your NPCs walk around mumbling "Sure is windy out here!"

Also check the Edit Backdrop area -- I recall seeing a Wind effect in the backdrop options.

Don't suppose you remember which one? Or do you mean the Valendra 'hair drifting around' look?

Given my main is a 60 cleric and Gloomlight is 'solo at your own risk,' I guess those questions will remain a mystery.
