Small frame characters can't jump?

So when I rolled my character I moved all the sliders to the far left making my character as small as possible. Now it occurs to me that that may be why I have such a hard time jumping on objects others can reach with ease.
For instance, there's a scrying orb in icespire peak that I can't make the last jump no matter how much I try. I've spent well over an hour on it. I am willing to admit that perhaps I just suck at jumping. But I wonder if any other small-frame characters have this problem as well?
