I see that the bug for GWF's non-activation of Unstoppable in PVP is still not fixed, that's nice. No I'm not dazed, silenced, whatsoever, I respawn and my Utility Power still didn't work the entire match. -_- Thought the PVP balancing would bring better results. Now people are ignoring and talking trash to me after the match saying that I was stupid for not using Unstoppable.
The devs failed to recognize this bug in the update and I got to say I'm kind of disappointed.
It was really a let down. I can already see the GWF class is going to be extinct soon.
My suggestion to all who are planning to be a GWF, don't. You'll just regret it because of the ton problems with this class and now this bug seems to cap it all up.
I would point out, that the pvp balancing to which you speak, hasn't been added to the live servers yet, and is only on the test shard at the moment. You may find that when the patch does make it to live, that things improve.
As for people ignoring and talking trash.. don't let them get to you
So all this time I've been bashing my tab key in frustration, almost to the point of smashing my keyboard wondering why my tab key isn't working. I should have guessed. Cryptic, you owe me a new keyboard!
Yes, pvp on a gwf is that stressful LOL!
(which is why I now play a cleric)
I have a DC, TR, CW, and GWF. Honestly GWF is my favorite class to play because I don't feel over powered. But yet, bugs like this and dealing with other classes who think they are soo good because they play an OP class gets old.
Apparently the class balance hasn't done much to change how OP CW's are, but we'll see when the game goes live. Or dead, depends on how you look at it.
This bug is still happening!!! Almost 50-70% of my PvP matches have this bug happen! Fix it please!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine a Cleric who could never go into Divine mode, or a Rogue, who could never stealth.
This is a game breaking bug, and needs to be addressed ASAP! It doesn't only happen in PvP, but also during normal gameplay. I had to fight the Pirate boss without determination / unstoppable!
For the love of all that is holy, why on earth has this bug not been fixed yet?
So I am not having this problem on my GWF. Is it only on the test shard? I haven't played the test shard. Even though sometimes when I hit my tab button it doesn't go off and I have to spam it, but it eventually does, when that happens.

You'll have this problem if you get dazed in that split second between activation of Unstoppable and it applying, it seems to cause it to lock out and not work again until you reload the game client. This is obviously an internal coding error of some sort.
How Cryptic trolls the entire NWO playerbase: 9200 GS listed for CN, implying anyone who needs more has no skill.
Tbh my main issue with PvP atm is GWF's constantly beeing unstoppable. Their friggin unkillable.
Ive had my main encounters with them for a lousy 4k damage, only to have them pop unstoppable instantly, i run away to avoid them until its done, even tho one hit brings me down 30% in health, and they can stun + run fast. As soon as unstoppable is over, i hit them twice for another 4k damage, they pop unstoppable again and stomp me to the ground.
We had one GWF just standing at 2 taking on 3 players on the enemy team, he was unstoppable for nearly 90% of the fight, killed them all, at which point he was down to like 30% hp, so i went up and lasher striked him, this brought him down to like half a bar of health, so he popped unstoppable instantly, and me... with full hp stood there with dualist flurry slapping him the face, only to have him bring me from 100% to 0% ( i figured i could bring him down that HALF a bar even tho he was unstoppable). And when i was dead and unstoppable was over, he was back to 30% health again.

The GWF is not "Unstoppable", A well played TR can use Wicked Reminder and reduce Damage Resistance up to 5 stacks and use Courage Breaker to reduce their Damage output by 90%, if they are a Scoundrel Paragon build, Then Blitz also reduces Damage Resistance by another 10-ish% and Path of Blade can be used to finish them off from a "Short-short" medium range far enough to be safe from their attacks and survive long enough for a Striker or Tank Build to finish them off. When I can pull this off, I can kill (Or Assist) almost all GWFs in about 10 seconds. Give or take the time to fend off the other team while making sure the GWF doesn't annihilate my team.
But it only works if you have a teammate to help you because there have been plenty of times where I solo this move and I get stunned and killed while I'm knocked prone by the same GWF I am trying to distract. Also Daze Strike if used correctly can be an alternative to blitz if you want to get up close and personal. Also make sure to use these powers after they used up their immunity powers as it won't affect them. Except Courage Breaker, and if you have the Scoundrel feat, it does 250% Weapon Damage over 5 seconds if you use Courage Breaker.
GF vs CW = probaly combat lengh 10min+ and GF if have teneb winner GF
TR vs CW = combat lenght 20 sec, dagger dagger dagger shift shift shift last hit impact shoot gg
GWF vs CW = I can not imagine
DC vs CW = probaly cw win. yeahhh i won this time.

Ahem... Unstoppable is the Utility Power of GWF. -_-
Oh come on. The gwf's are all confident now that they actually aren't getting owned left and right or by clerics any more. Funny to still see them run away from me even after they spam it.
Beginning of the match they seem to charge directly for me *rogue easy target* and then they end up face down. *WTF*
They come out of spawn and try again *first time was a fluke but this rogue nuub is mine* and then again face down at my feet. *WTF*
The third time they come out of spawn and see me, they don't even bother engaging. If they see me coming they charge off even if they have full hp bar. *op rogue!*

I don't think you understand the point of the comment. I wouldn't take the time out of my day to help the community if I didn't think it was worth it.
I got tired of people complaining of OP GWF classes and OP Perma-Stealth TR classes. So I decided to "In-Directly" (Convert or Convince) the majority of PS, (Prolong'd Stealth'd) Builds, by making it as appealing as possible to let them know that they can Debuff and CC a lot better than solo Dam Output Class Builds. You also have to factor the other player too because you don't know what powers they have or feats or stats or even gear to counter what kind of attacks or moves that you have specialized in. Also having a random party for PvP decreases winning chance because you don't know their persona either.
Instead of using Crit % and Armor Penetration to deal "Max Potential Damage", Which doesn't make sense if the enemy player has a high Defense and Deflection stat to counter that, then its better to Debuff their Stats and make them from "Unstoppable" to "Vulnerable." Hence why I used quotation marks around "Unstoppable" in my first comment because I'm not ignorant and play only one class and then rage about how the other classes are unfair because I didn't take the time to delete my characters to try out a new class.
If you have a DPS build TR and a CC/Debuff TR you can actually do 70K Crit Damage with the DPS build (occasionally)
in PvP. It depends because you have to work together to complement the Crit % of that DPS build with a build that focuses on CC'n, compared to a Solo PS build that doesn't benefit the team in PvP.
If you have a CW with Prestidigitation and a TR with Critical Teamwork with a high DEX and STR, their Crit % "can be" up to ~40% minimum with the right stats and build, and with Gear and Enchantments that benefits Crit % you can raise it even farther in Damage Severity against a high HP Character. If you Debuff the player instead of using your damage encounters and stop playing Domination like its Deathmatch. You can win a match, because that TR just insta-killed a player who thought they could just Rambo the middle tower and ended up dying hence, you have about 10-15 seconds to rush to their spawn tower, Cap-it and prevent the enemy team from advancing on yours since they don't have enough players because usually half of them quit if you do that. And if you capp'd at least 1 tower you should get glory. I got a PvP reward because the player above me in the Scoreboard got bored and left not realizing him leaving made me the next recipient in PvP rewards. Hence I got free glory and free Items doing it.
Now that I explained myself, I think I practically taught zero people how to properly play a TR class, because its safe to assume people only read the forums for self-pleasure and won't take the time to get this far in this comment.
About more or less will read this... "Use Courage Breaker and Wicked Reminder on GWFs!" than this whole comment because they don't have the attention span to learn that if they used teamwork they can actually compliment other players in PvP. This is a MMO type game. If you keep on solo'n it, it won't work to your advantage because all the classes are designed to benefit the others hence you are only "Truly" OP if you have buffs and Stats from other players instead of trying to Buff you own character using self reliability methods.
Go ahead and use foundry and respec your author character to see the other classes. You'll see that there are feats and powers when used at the right time can actually make a "Team" Invincible rather than a "Bot" who just explains excuses for misunderstandings that the person doesn't take the time to figure out for them self.
Always have at least one Defensive role player, an Offensive role player and a Utility role player, Any class can be offensive, defensive, or even just buff or debuff the team or other team. A rogue can use Path of Blade, Blitz, and possibly Smoke Bomb and CC if there isn't a CW available. A GF can use Into the Fray, Knight's Valor or Enforced Threat with Iron Warrior and Shield Talent and Ferocious Reaction and never be killed in a PvP match if they have teammates to back them up. Using shield Slam helps with "Perma-Guard Builds"
Hey I don't play a GWF and I'm not planning on doing so, just want to check if they can use Unstoppable while dazze (aka silence) if they can't then is just my ping that sucks

they can unstoppable in any cc besides the proned state.
Can we please get back to the main topic? The point of this thread, is that there is a game / class breaking bug, which prevents GWF from using unstoppable.
If you want to whine about how 'op' gwf are, go make your own thread.
Someone above said they have never seen a gwf not use unstoppable... and that is the point exactly. Have you ever seen a cleric not use divine mode? Have you ever seen a rogue not use stealth? Have you ever seen a gf not block?
GWF need unstoppable to be viable as a class.
FIX IT.

How to fix in PVE - Stand in red until dead. Have someone ress you or zone to fire.
PVP - Die and zone back at fire.

Dying doesn't fix it.
I recorded a pvp match earlier after I had died 3 times and every time unstoppable was still bugged, it was only after the 3rd death did it start to work again.
I will have to upload the video, but so sick of this, I should have waited for this to be fixed before rolling a new toon, maybe I should have rolled a new game, that normally seems to fix bugs of this size I find that affect gameplay.

Yah I don't know exactly what causes or what debugs it. But it happens quite often. Usually though when I die or get frustrated enough to /killme. (keyword usually not always) Itll fix it. But has cost me many repair kits.

It seems to be a general bug that is not just with GWFs. A Tr's stealth also bugs out the same way occasionally and it is reset/working after the TR respawns or goes to a different area. I wish the GWF bug would at least reset the same way.
Every class has advantages and disadvantages. Learn the disadvantages of you class to overcome them. Learn the advantages of your class and the disadvatages of other classes to use them in pvp to win.
There is no point to whine for nerfs because you win some and loose some. Crying just makes a player look like a crier and no one, especially the devs, should take them seriously. Have a nice day!:)
This issue was thought to have been fixed with the Fury of the Feywild patch, so any info on what was happening when it occurred would be very appreciated.
If it's still an issue would very much like to get it resolved for both classes as losing access to a core power is very frustrating.
