Children have been kidnapped from Bideyburg, a small village almost entirely populated by the sprawling Fenwick family.
Dwarven ruins, a dark, mysterious forest... can you find the children and return them safely? Can you discover the secrets?
Can you find the Fen Wood?
Story! Puzzles! Some (hopefully) terribly hard combats that you don't have to fight!
Run-time seems to be holding around 60 minutes. Which is amusing, given my commentary that missions should be ~30 minutes... But it's on 3 maps, so you can always take a break after a map-load.
Ironed out a few bugs. There's one area on the second map that's supposed to have impossible or nearly impossible battles -- please let me know if you breeze through it (and with what class/level).
Part 1 is a nice introduction to the campaign, but it isn't necessary to part 2.
The Fenwick Cycle is either going to be 5 or 6 missions, depending on how things unfold.
V 1.2:
fixed some stupid things (like generic names for interact objects), and upped the difficulty of the 'hard path.'
Also added a note about the intention to explore a little bit and read dialog (not all of it, just some).
Campaign: The Fenwick Cycle NWS-DKR9GB7KH
Wicks and Things: NW-DI4FMZRR4 : The Fenwick merchant family has lost a caravan! Can you help?
Beggar's Hollow: NW-DR6YG4J2L : Someone, or something, has stolen away many of the Fenwicks' children! Can you find out what happened to them?
Into the Fen Wood: NW-DL89DRG7B : Enter the heart of the forest. Can you discover the secret of the Fen Wood?
I cleared all the Search Beggar's Hollow objectives except one, and that is the one right on the transition point to Fen Wood.
I found the "talking thing that shouldn't talk" (trying not to drop spoiler here) and it mentioned being taken home to the South East, but never found anything down that direction at all.
I know it may only be me, but I think on large open maps quest trails are important, far more than they'll ever be in a "walled" dungeon.
Got to say I loved the environment though.
EDIT: OK found it, I think. Now, if you are going to have a quest item that is really small then you either need it with a Point Way or in a place where you can see it. No way point at all, under spider webs (this may be the real problem here), no "sparkly" and in the dark (why do people insist on making places so dark you can't see) is a major No-No! And may be the reason this quest is running at 60 Mins. You do it in 20 because you know where the shoe is, 1st time flyers don't.
OK, a few niggles aside (one of which above) this was pure brilliance. A fantastic story, brilliantly told, brilliantly executed within the limits of what the Foundry can do, and environments that were meticulously crafted and realised.
The circuits in the mound, that trigger changed environments was just one of the highlights, but so well executed that it must be mentioned.
OK on to the niggles.
The "shoe" niggle above already covered.
One or two items that were interactable but almost impossible to get "line of sight" (the skeleton in the Mound-Cave that can be identified with the right class-skill comes to mind.
Had to run around like mad to get past the invisiwall in front of the Reward Chest at end as well.
And that was really it.
A solid 5/5 all day long.
PS: Sorry about taking the straight path. I may go in again and see how things are "off piste".
Thank you for playing! And no apologies necessary, the fact that EVERYONE has gone straight... if nobody understands the message, as it were, the fault lies on the message-giver.
I'll try making the shoe thing a point waypoint, good idea.
I'll also work on that invisiwall. The problem is there's actually two walls, and I'm trying to shoe-horn an 'or' logic onto it -- depending on your choice previous, two sets of events happen, and each unlocks one 'side' of the box. I may make it more overt/visible. Mmm.

An extremely fun quest and great environments! Please check it out!
I played this, gave it five stars. Wonderful quest. I particularly enjoyed the redcap and the rhymes/lore you included. Would you mind reviewing the one in my sig in exchange? It's only a couple of minutes long, and not a bad trade considering yours took me around the average duration of an hour.
I think I'm going to try splitting this mission into 2 parts. I was nervous that exploiters would kill it if I did so before, but if it's a choice between that and people bothering in the first place...
I THINK I'll split it into Bideyburg + Forest, and then the underground bit as a second mission. While the first map can run long for people who stop and smell the roses/dialog, you can get through it very fast (particularly if you are a rogue).

(Currently fixing a few things mentioned, and I think I'll put the treasure wall barriers in as VISIBLE walls rather than invisible.)
