    Didn't know that, but as I said, I've already contacted Customer Service, seems you didn't even read the OP. ^^;

    I did, but since no one here will know how long you are banned for it seems like a pointless post, just wanted to remind you what your only course of action is.

    Could you explain how you know it is permanent? I've taken down the OP but I would still like to know where this was stated as what was sent does say "temporary suspension".

    No trolling, or flaming.
    Any form of personal insult will not be tolerated. General rule of thumb: if you think that what you are about to post is insulting, don't post it.

    Its a Free game that you exploited with your free account using a free character.

    Whether the email says it or not, your account is gone. And it should be. Learn your lesson and try again (make a new account) or move on.

    Please provide the source to your information! That would be helpful, otherwise how does anyone know whether you know what you're talking about or not? ^^;

    The last exploiters to the AH were permanently banned: http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=896631
    As much as we hate to ban players from our game, in this particular situation we had to permanently close all exploitative accounts and coordinate a 7-hour rollback of all characters and currency transactions. Balance and economy are extremely important to us, and to protect these two integral aspects of the game, we can’t allow characters to exist in the game once they go this far outside of the intended mechanics.

    Your exploits were just as harmful. So choose to believe your account is gone, or dont, the choice is yours.

    I heard there were also a lot of 72 hour bans and that the emails specifically said they were banned and not temporarily suspended. Either way, thank you at least, I see where you came to your conclusion. ^^ If anything I'll just try logging in within the next few days and we will see! Thanks for your response, and the link. ^^;

    Suspensions are generally 72 hours if they follow what most games do.

    Bans are permanent, but most (reputable) companies have an appeal process.

    I wouldn't listen to any of these people as they have no clue what they are talking about. The earlier AH exploits had a variety of bans according to the company itself. The most severe cases were perma banned, with others having various other penalties. I would not just assume your account is "gone". The problem you face, however, is that customer service is overloaded so it could be quite a long time before you get an answer in your particular case.

    ^ The suspension (if that's what it was) will be long over before he gets any response.

    I was, I assume wrongfully, banned on the morning of Tuesday. I've had two lesser Vorpals sitting in my bank previously, due to the exploit the prices on the enchants and wards have gone down dramatically, while most shards have seen an increase. I used this opportunity of the fluctuating market to buy out some of them and make a normal vorpal. After 30 minutes I was banned. False positive?
    The e-mail stated I was temporarily suspended, however forum and game logins all say my account has been banned. So I am not sure which is it. Tomorrow (Friday) morning should be 72 hours, so I will see then if I have been un-banned. If not, I have no desire of playing this game again, and the new big update doesn't sound too exciting. TESO, here I come.

    Do not answer the exploiters, Cryptic!! Let them forever wonder.... That is the price of exploitation.

    If I ever had to bet my life on whether I believed Cryptic were mindbogglingly cunning enough to let exploiters suffer from this deliberately or Cryptic are just mindbogglingly slow in responding to all Customer Service requests, I know which option I would go for......

    The sad part is that bans were given out regardless of the severity, including wrongful bans. All the while some of the folks who admittedly made MILLIONS in profits from this are still happily playing untouched.

    Many games will say your account is "Suspended" but in truth your account is permanently closed as it's suspended forever!

    If they do not list a time frame for how long the suspension is, then your account is gone. If they list a time frame then you'll get your account back at the end of the suspension time. Otherwise if no time is listed it's gone for good.

    Oh, wait....

    Once again, they did close some accounts. They have also said they did not close all accounts and that each situation is different. Nowhere did I say that they did not perma ban some people. I did say that some people were perma banned and some people had other penalties and Cryptic/PWE has said so. If you search around you will find confirmation of what I am saying.

    I'm just going to assume it is permanent until I hear back from Customer service! Which hopefully will be soon, I hardly think what was done was bannable, especially for a first offense. I know some of you may disagree, I'm not going to try to force you to think one way or the other. I just want to play again. ^^;

    The best a community mod can do is point you here: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?287382-Customer-Service-Update

    And tell you that you can email customer service here: customerservice@perfectworld.com but they are backed up and you may expect longer than usual response times.

    The question it self is not hard to answer. It requires no rocket science, no log checking, no investegation, no men power..heck even no effort. Just 1 minute of Cryptic's time. Why would you overload the Customer Support with this silly question when you can just provide an answer on the forum. Or even better, provide it in the email that was sent to the people that got banned.

    "In regards of the fusion exploit. How long is the temporarily suspension?"

    Mod comes saying the amount of days.

    Case closed.

    Moderators are not privy to specific account details. They handle forum moderation hence the name mod.
    Suspensions are handled on a case by case basis by Cryptic/PW. Which is why you need to go through Cryptic/PW.
    You can contact them here: customerservice@perfectworld.com

    You're welcome.

    How about they just resend everyone a mail that got banned, and add the little detail on how long they are banned? I belive we all got the same mail, and therefore the same punishment right?

    So, true. Some people made millions of AD from this exploit. Those unfortunate to have tried the fuse exploit that morning the ban was instituted, however slight their infraction, got banned/suspended while those other that did it REPEATEDLY the previous day/night & were left unscathed.
