Junk files left by crappy installer/patching methods

Just deleted about 4 gigs of temp files left over by the patcher. had to go digging for them too, not the easiest to find. There is so much residual HAMSTER on my machine from this game alone. There is also another gig of HAMSTER in the logs folder. Very poor setup to waste so much space on the client machine. I use a 120GB SSd so space is crucial to maintain. Please work on streamlining the patcher and the log system so as people's computers arent filled full of HAMSTER like this...tis not much to ask in this day and age...

whole idea of having the ssd is for faster game loading times. i dont use the ssd for much else. also getting a bit tired of the beta tag thrown around to cover for all the bugs this game has...but that's another argument altogether I guess.

I'm not saying its because it's beta, because I've had LOTS of games that leave their patch files, and I prefer them to, just in case I have to reinstall, normally I don't have to download the patches in that instance.

The combat log getting big, I wouldn't mind seeing a slider to set a max size / length of time to keep it before deleting and starting over...

it wouldnt be so bad if they planned it that way and let you manage those temp files from the patcher or something for people like yourself who want to keep them. but its not planned, they just forgot to add in a line at the end of the patching process that deletes all the temp HAMSTER that it downloads during. seems a silly oversight. should put this in bugs section really.

Can you give us a directory path of where the temp files can be found ?

C:\Users\"Username"\AppData\Local\Temp\Low it was in there somewhere, deleted whole folder so cant remember what it was called, either neverwinter or cryptic. you'll know it when you see it. let me know how big it was for you.

Not finding any temp folders except under my Cryptic Studios folder.
    As far as folders...
    3.6GB original download (torrent)
20.2GB Cryptic Folder (9.84GB for STO, 4.55GB for CO and 5.83GB for NW)
Inside the Neverwinter -> Live folder is a tmp folder which is empty at the moment.

Most of NW appears to be under the piggs folder, which appears to be required by the game.

I'll have to check for temp files while running the game to see if they're anywhere else. (My combat log at the moment is 120MB)

At the moment I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary. Not even any actual patch files...
