Thank you for all that you do in giving the player base these wonderful works of quests. After playing around with the Foundry, posting and reading this forum, and learning what I can and can not do - and still learning. I have great appreciation for what the authors create through their, seemingless amounts of, patience and creativity given the tools that we have.

Agree completely! The author community of this game are probably the best I have seen in any game.
There is a rumor floating around that I am working on a new foundry quest. It was started by me.

This is the first "Foundry" I've used outside of the Bioware's tool in the old games. I expected it to be similar and learned that I was very much mistaken. Just by learning how to use this and seeing what it takes to create a simple quest I wanted to throw out some appreciation and love to everyone that does anything in it.

Personally, I think it's the funnest part of the game. Even though it can be a tedious process, playing a quest you built is very rewarding. In some ways, I enjoy the limitations of the Foundry, because it's fun to be creative and find ways around them.

It's been a great experience interacting with the other authors. I'm sure I will lose interest in the game eventually, but until then, it's great fun.

Now if they will just do something to make using the Foundry less painful. like when you move something on the map it goes where you move it...Or they can just leave it to rot like they did the STO Foundry. I will be quite awhile before I make another mod, ay least until they update and enhance it (if ever)

It does take far too long to do certain things, they really need to find a way to streamline the process. That being said, it is still an impressive tool. Kudos to everyone making all these great quests despite the limitations.

Kudos to the people making videos and streaming people's quests. It's a huge difference actually watching someone play a quest and catch things you wouldn't even think of.

The foundry authors are defiantly the smarter group of people in the community. I am not just saying that. Creative people generally are high on intelligence. All one has to do is look at the difference here vs. what is going on in the general discussion forums.

To be fair, "General Discussion" boards tends to be terrible no matter what game you're looking at. You usually find more civil folk in the less frequented boards. :p

The Foundry is by far not the worst mod tool ever created.

Back in the olden days, we used a hex editor.

I have gotten so much positive help and feedback, its been a great community. Amazing how many people on here play your module and give you honest good criticism that you need to work on and correct to make it better. If you listen to the community, aren't offended at taking some advice you will soon get tons of five star ratings and people telling you that your quests are more fun then playing the Cryptic created ones.

Thank you. I think it needed to be said because it takes a lot of time, patience, and creativity to make a quest. If anyone simply has the interest in playing with the Foundry and are still learning it after 24 hours they should get a medal.

I'm not sure what your referring to but try turning off snap to grid.
