Heh, that's a companion bug. Sometimes, when players leave a zone (via queue for PvP/Dungeons for example), companions will be left behind where they were, never to leave. People can still summon them and all, but a copy stays there for days. XD

It appears that every time you zone your "companion" stays behind, or at least that is what I was surmising but all those "toons" at an area where their are no zone doors is something I am unsure off.
Not EVERY time, but that's more or less the case. If it was every time, we'd have servers crashing from so many NPCs. :P

On a side note, would it not be easier to simply summon your companions at the last moment before venturing out (after zoning of course)? Just wondering if this would be helpful for some who may be experiencing lag due to this?
