I've seen this in coversations but does this also make an item visible? Lets say if a thief is following foot prints and they are set to visibility with thievery will they show up?
Yep, assuming you are creating "footprints" with a detail, in the detail's options there will be a "visible if player has skill", if you chose thievery then they would only be visible to a pc with that skill.
Note that if you use the "visible if player has skill" and "visible if player has item" options both on the same detail, only the skill one will work. I assume it's a bug.
Okay, I've played with this and it seems to not work. What I'd like to do is have a hidden door release be seen by a rogue. The release isn't used anywhere else in an objective or story and when selecting visible with thievery skill it just doesn't work.
