Foundry Question: Adding Detail to the Sky

This may be a silly question (and may also not be possible), but I am looking to add a detail in the sky for my next quest, specifically a comet. I've tried a couple of things but they are entirely unsatisfactory.

Anyone have any ideas how to best do something like this? May also be helpful for others in a variety of ways (shooting stars, disturbance in the distance, etc.)

I get pop-in/out of details at a distance even though the game auto-detected at very high graphics settings. So I'd guess you'd need to have a sky override layer with a comet in it (there isn't one however) instead of trying to make a comet out of details high up in the sky. You could try putting in some details, and seeing how far away you can see them from.

There are standard comet/ falling debris effects. Just check under the effects tab in details.

I have seen some awesome looking things shooting through the sky on one quest I played. They looked like fireball asteroids. Fairly large. Can't remember the name of the quest (hehe) But it was a german quest on the featured list under 30 minutes :P

The flying balls of flaming rock are stock effects in the Foundry. They're what's used in Helm's Hold in the main game.

I have tried a few things, haven't found anything that looks realistic yet. I want a comet to be visible and static (ie. not moving or falling) in the sky during the outdoor portion of a quest. Doesn't need to be anything extravagant, just clearly visible and out of the ordinary.

There is an "icy portal" detail that I may play with some more, it's got potential but the Y axis only goes up to a certain height (I think it's 296) and it doesn't feel like an item in the distant sky so much as something hovering in the sky nearby. And is therefore also too big.
