Well, I'm doing a campaign and I finished my first mission. I decided to start working on my second mission while I wait for some close friends to test my first mission. I duplicated the first mission so I could use costumes from the first mission. I deleted all maps immediately, everything but the costumes.
I got to work on a new map and the story. Got three (very long) dialogue sequences into mission, as well as a full outdoors map completely detailed. Then, I encountered a bug. The appear/disappear drop down box, that lets you select when something spawns/despawn (you know, immediately, never, objective complete, that stuff) does not drop down when I click on it. At the very least it does not appear to. After clicking the drop down box, and then clicking below the drop down box (where the list of stuff would normally appear), it turns out the box did appear but it is simply invisible. So I can select these options, after wildly guessing a billion times at where the desired option is.
I have no idea how to fix this issue, and it is far too much of a hassle for me. I make huge use of the appear/disappear stuff because my missions is story/character driven (hundreds of times in my first mission). Lots of people disappearing and walking here or there. Not to mention I was working on experimental cut-scenes using the appear/disappear stuff (inspired by Zovya).
Can anyone help me? If I cannot fix this, it is the end of my foundry career, as I cannot possibly make my mission like this.

Okay, so as I'm understanding the advananced drop down options are not visible. Have you created another quest just to see if something is wrong with the current one? Have you logged off and back on - sorry, my husband is a tech and this always fixes something it seems.
Is it with everything or something specific? If it's something specific is it in a strange location on the map?
I'm sorry but outside of these I don't know what to say. I've never seen this before. The only thing that I encountered was because I wasn't watching where I was placing decor and I was changing it to the level of the platform Y axis. It wasn't letting me because the item was outside of the working area.

Yes, I have done both. My first mission works properly, and restarting the game did not help. Your husband is smart, fixing problems always begins with the most obvious solution!

I'm not 100% sure that it's everything. I did not try it outside of a certain radius, but it's definitely more than one object. I'll check that

I've had odd things like this happen after the foundry has been running for several hours straight, but your problem seems to be somehow tied to the module, persisting even through a restart. Did I understand you correctly that you have tried creating a new module to see if the issue recurs? I know your first module is fine, but what about a new one? Not suggesting you start over, mind you... just ruling out an issue with the Foundry defaults.
If the issue doesn't persist from module to module, I would suggest you start peeling things off of your current module, reverse of how you added them, testing the drop-down at each stage. You may have stuck an item or items on the map that somehow makes the Foundry uncooperative.
Good luck, and sorry if this ends up a waste of your time!

Thank you for posting. I've actually made some progress with my issue. I'm now 99% confident that I know the problem, but I do not know what is causing it or how to fix it. The issue is, the drop down box that should appear when I click "appear when" appears to be popping up behind the info box that pops up when you click on an item. Normally it comes up over the info box, but it seems to be coming up behind the box.
Also, I found out that this problem is only present in this one map, not any other map even in the mission. Very odd. I will take your advice if I can't figure out what to do with my new found information. Thank you for the suggestions! I'm just really desperate right now.

I fixed it... By deleting my clusters of corn. That is not the solution I imagined finding, lol...

I have the same problem now with some very specific foundry items e.g. "light rain","heavy rain" & "effect: thunder".
