Lack of Fix to T2 Armor Bug

Hello,

As many of you are aware there is a texture bug with all rogue T2 armor sets : QQ622A56FE20130514152326_zps0d3c75fe.png

I'm pretty dismayed by the lack of a fix to this problem as of yet. This was identified pretty early in the beta and you would think is one that could easily be solved considering these textures work properly for tier 1 rogue armor sets.

I'm making this post to keep the pressure on the devs to fix the issue. The texture bug ruins immersion, incites mockery and is annoying to look at for extended periods of time. It really ruins my enjoyment of the game. I understand I am being petty here but the look of my character is one of the most important aspects of an MMO in my opinion. Finally achieving some of the best TR gear in the game only to be rewarded with a paper bag skin is quite frustrating.

For those that don't know you can use a T1 chest and the 'change appearance' feature to hotfix the armor for about 60kAD.

Thanks for reading and I encourage you to bump this post if you are dismayed with this bug as much as I am.

While I fully agree with this nasty look, I have another thing I don't really understand with the T2 armor stuff. I recently swapped my last Shadewalker-items (armor and boots) with the better Sinister Shade-ones. My Gearscore decreased from roughly 10,100 to below 10,000. Shouldn't the better T2 set increase the GS?

    +1

I thought it was just me at first so I made a ticket about it, but then I saw a bunch of rogues with the same texture bug.

Just transmute it to something else for the time being, it's that simple.

Right click it > Change appearance > Buy an armor you like the look of > pay 60k to switch it.

Gear Score is calculated directly from the attributes your gear is giving you. Did you perhaps lose a +400 set bonus when you swapped armor?

In general, though, gear score is taken too seriously and you should make your own judgements when determining the value of gear. I highly suggest you read Metzli's TR dps guide on these forums for more information.
