I'm seriously hoping with the new release pack that there is more character equipment content.
Specifically outfits..

I'd really like to see more character customization as far as clothing/armour options are concerned.

I recently got my partner involved in the game, and after 11 levels of dungeons she asked: "Is this it.? Just running back and forth grinding levels?"
She wanted to shop and buy gear, and customise the look of her character.
I showed her the shopping options and they all looked the same..
She wanted to identify more with her character by making it look unique.
I had to agree there is no where nearly enough options for each individual character's appearance.
I understand class and level specific armour should be appropriate, but there should be at least a few options to make it interesting.

My Rogue is lvl 30 and I hate the hat so much I have it disabled, but thats the only option I can find.. (apparently there is a mask and hood option but I'm yet to find it.. if anyone has any information please let me know)

While I do enjoy the dye option, I found it's a waste of time and money while leveling as you change gear every two levels. I'd very much like to see each individual dye have 5 or 6 uses.
Currently every class not lvl 60 looks very much the same.

Also the ability to cusomize your companions looks would be great as well.. eg. dye, or armour. (I've seen the skin option but it's hardly noticable).

Anyways, I'm very well aware there are people who may think all this trivial compared to other pending issues and bugs, but it's something I'd like to see considered in the next release.

There was a time when getting to max level (60) was an enjoyable journey.
Currently it just feels like a grind to get to 60 so you can spend money on your characters appearance.

I support this fully. We need moar looks!

Also, more weapon choices would be good, but not how they are currently used. It's really awkward to stab with a mace.

Bump, good points indeed. I would really hope that the customize options could be purchased with in game currency and not just another gimick to rip off people in the overpriced cash shop.

The Wanna Be Pretty Committee (WBPC) approves of this message. I keep hoping with the new dyes that keep coming out (which I'm grateful for) means there will be a lot more fashion and such? Customizing my character is what keeps me interested in an mmo. Which is despite PWEs greed, I still stick around PWI because of the many ways to make my character unique. I can absolutely say no one looks like my character there. :D

The equipment in game looks cool now...

But it's just too limited in selection. I wouldn't mind paying for some true visual customization. :)

I think currently the prices of alot of things are beyond reasonable, including that of appearance changing.

What they should do is this: If you equip a piece of gear, that piece's appearance becomes unlocked for that character. From that point forward, you should be able to right click on that piece of gear, and make it look like any of the models you've unlocked for that area.

Similarly, dyes should be account unlocks, with unlimited uses. Thus, if I buy a dye pack, I can use it during my entire character's career, without worrying that I'm going to waste it on a piece that I may replace in the future.

My 2 cents: Low level armor should cost less to change appearance. There's no reason why customizing look should be reasonable at lv 60 only.

Problem is, that's less profitable for them. Can't have that can we. :(
