Very well, if you prefer me to type more like a prick to get my point across i am able. Unlike you it is not a fact that i am unable to type in a manner that shows my education it is the fact that i am unwilling. In other words just because someone types something after being up for 30 hours do not attack the post. Read what they are typing, since I made it so obvious to understand, and comment on that instead. If you are unable to find something to say regarding the class then do not respond at all.

Now Tarmalen, it is not a matter of who wears the pants as i also autokick them. It really is a simple matter, the only reason to bring one along would be that you are unable to find anything else. I like the look of a GWF and would love for them to be usefull. Unfortunately at this point in time groups are better served by any other class in the game. I would love for a GWF to be a viable option, but in the current state of the game there is no place for them.

Translation = does not play well in groups. What, you want someone to carry you? Need two DCs to do it, maybe three? Maybe a couple TRs in there?

Wow yet another individual that completely missed my point. Ok then let me try and make this even clearer for you. If you take a GWF with you to a dungeon you have gimped yourself by not taking ANY other class in the game. Yes a GWF "can" do something in the group, but then again so can the white companions. Chudovishye it is not a fact that i want someone to carry me, it is a simple fact that you will complete the run smoother, faster, and with less hassle with any other class than a GWF. Stop being a fanboy of the class and understand they need buffs.

Did you read my post? http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?323341-A-Level-60-GWFs-Assessment-of-Powers-DEVS-PLEASE-READ

I'm well aware the class needs buffs, but a good player, and a good group, goes a LONG way. Sure, I must agree, if you want to do T2 runs to farm and you want it quickly, certain classes are clearly the better option at this point. But I'm playing for farming and fun, not just making it a straight job. If that's what you're doing, then yes, your ideals require quickness, and the GWF doesn't offer that yet. But one of the reasons I joined the guild that I did was great parties, good players. That's what's fun to me. I'm not making a job out of a game.

"Complete the run smoother" - I've had plenty of smooth runs with maybe 1 or 2 wipes because people were new to the mechanics of the boss fight. Is this not what a guild /friends are for? Smooth, hassle free runs. Again I understand your point of view but any run can be smooth with competent players and class comp.

"Faster" - We all understand that a GWF in a speed run is not typical. Not everyone wants to do speed runs nor want to use some of the exploits involved that are needed for speed runs. When I say exploits I'm not talking about graveyard runs/pushing mobs off the edge/skipping boss's. Some of the heroics still have wall exploits and can still 1 shot the boss.

"Stop being a Fan boy (2 Words)" - Depends on how you’re labeling a fan boy. I currently have 2 GWF, one for PvE and PvP. I'm a fan boy when it comes to playing plate melee class’s in any MMO. Always have and always will especially when swinging a big 2 hand weapon regardless if it's the weakest class. I know overtime classes get buffed / nerfed but that does not mean I'm going to jump ship. Some label fan boys as someone playing the favor of the week/month/expansion.

Smoother being the fact that any class would do it better than a GWF. lets face it you need to dps the boss fast TR, adds? CW
Im saying for you to bring a GWF you must sacrifice a slot that could have been filled with something better.

Faster sometimes you want to get out 2 or 3 runs before the dungeon delv is gone you cant really do this with a GWF. Yes i do like playing my GWF but the fact that if i play my TR runs will go better based on nothing but the fact its a TR. Knowing that if i play GWF the group will have an uphill battle is NOT how a class should be. What would you rather have on a basket ball team? the 5' fat guy missing an arm? or the 7' tall athlete that has godlike hand eye coordination, can dribble and shoot from anywhere?

Fan boy in the fact that people sit there and put blinders on saying "ohh GWF are fine l2p." it is a simple fact they are not fine, yes they can be used... but at no time do they fill any role better than anyone else. look at all the classes in the game and what can a GWF fill. DPS? CC? Heals? nope nope and umm nope. trash aoe dps that a control class does better means you fail at your job.

Please read my assessment of the powers I linked above, you'll see what I mean. The GWF is a USABLE class currently, just not a balanced class. And as he commented up there, I joined a guild to play with people in workable parties. If that's not what you want, then that's you, go for speed. You're current in that most GWFs won't be good for that.

Again anything is usable, hell the white companions are "usable". Just remember as a GWF you took a slot away from a better class.

Yes you joined a guild for it as that as any GWF that ever wants to even think about running dungeons must vs say TR CW or DC that you see people spamming they are looking for. And no its not always about speed but its about viability. Give me one reason besides you like playing the class that you would bring a GWF to a group.

If I know the person plays it well, and I know at least one in my guild that does, I'd bring them. If they can't play the GAME, not just the class, I don't bring them. I'ved played with DCs who don't use AS, like WTF is that about? There are plenty of bad players for every class, it's just that GWF has the most of them because it's so hard to use. I like playing in a guild, I like playing with people who enjoy the group work, if that's not for you and you want to farm CN a million times in an hour, then yeah, I probably can't bring much to the table there. If they buff the class, knowing what I already do about it, I'll be happy on top.
