Publish even with sound not working?

I've been working on a mission for a week now. I was wondering if I should publish my quest even though the sounds arn't working correctly? Anyone know if we'll have to redo missions after they fix the foundry?

Sounds that are already placed are supposed to work once they fix it, so it is supposed to automagically start working in your quest once they fix it.

The sound problems could be at your end. I say publish your quest and see if anyone is having the same problem. If so, pull your quest and wait for a fix. I had a similar problem with music playing in the background that I didn't put in one of my quest, just appeared out of nowhere.

My consern is a few of the doors you put as locked/unlocked dont have sound. I attached the door to a objective and make the sound activate once (open door sound) so it looks like doors are working correctly. If they update the foundry and fix the doors I'd have 2 sounds instead of the one and have to go in and fix my maps. I was hopeing we'd have an update on the foundry forum about an ETA on sound fixes.

Can you pull your foundry quest after its published? I didn't know you can do that.

The sound should work once a fix goes in. I think they said the issue is not with the actual quest you made but the game not playing the sounds as they should.

However the REAL question is...will they ever fix the sounds. This issue has been around for several months now and they keep just saying "we are working on it" once every few weeks.

    ^ Yea

I suggest publishing any completed quest even without sounds, it's probably going to be awhile before they actually fix it. You can always add or fix the sounds once they actually work.
