Im getting chat banned every another day for nothing. I dont spam, dont insult or anything like this. I need to use zone chat to sell low value epics for gold. I need other chats to team up and play. Dont you think things like that are crucial for mmorpg? You made a flawed report system that allow exploiters abuse it, maybe its time to fix this?

Yup that's why you got chat banned right there, trying to sell junk, nobody got time for that...
Think about it no-one under level 60 want's it because it's too high a level & nobody level 60 want's it because everyone level 60 can easily farm low level epics for themselves.
You must be joking me right? I have every right to sell whatever i want, besides selling epics for small gold amount is very good for fresh 60 players that dont have that many AD and they can build up their gear on that. Your obviously one of this players that have nothing better to do then trolling other players becouse they want to sell something. Im not spamming chat just adversite things i got to sell. And your thinking is wrong i sold EVERY epic i managed to adversite, low lvl ppl love to buy things for when they hit 60.
Ppl like you reporting for nothing, becouse their loogic fails, deserve this ban more then anyone
I think it's pretty clear who the troll is here and the only thing that's failing is your spelling & basic sentence construction.
That aside you're right you have the right to try and sell whatever you want but it seems your interpretation of spamming and that of other players may differ somewhat.
Sounds like spamming to me...
I'd suggest getting another account just for advertising. If it's chat banned it won't affect your Lv60.
@clortbags - we have international players here, don't be a **** by telling them their english is horrible.

The reason why not is because unsolicited correspondence on the internet is the definition of spam. The other definition is a luncheon meat made out of ham and slime.
If I was going to make a public forum post in a foreign language I'd still use a spellchecker... just saying
It was asked multiple times in Champions Online. The answer pretty much was 'No'.
But hey, it appears since the chatban system has made peasants revolt in NW something is happening about it. 3 year revolt in CO had no effect on it. So, maybe NW gets the Trade channel (and so the other 2 games get it too).
Go figure.

I can't understand why they wouldn't create one for us and a looking for group channel whilst they're at it it'd be good to hear their view on this.
Also think it's bad now... just wait until they merge the server shards then zone chat will be a REAL mess.

Spam is unsolicited advertising. Which is exactly what you're doing. You might be thinking of 'flooding'.
I agree with you, however, you wont get much sympathy on these forums. This is what happens when you let a toxic community police itself.
If you do it in zone chat, you're gonna get chat banned. Ending advertisements in zone chat is the only way to make it usable for everyone else and flagging you for spam (which means unsolicited advertisment) is both appropriate and necessary.
Sure, just like every other person have the right to report or ignore you for your behaviour.
I sure as hell would report you for trying to scam people, gold is much more valuable than AD in low values, and also harder to come by. You`re being a <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>, and people are letting you know how they feel about it by reporting you.
If someone is looking to buy something then all thats needed is 1 line, chances are some people are intelligent enough to scroll up the chat if they see something they're after.
The annoying things that deserve a Stfu 24 hour ban are; gold sellers, afk pvp'ers, multi-line(proper)spammers and insulting comments imo, unfortunately since there's no way of governing the type of players who are in this game, as its F2P, there is a number of muppets that are trigger happy with the spam button.
The problem is that the game equates ignore with report. No one should get banned for being placed on ignore by several people, which I think is the cause of most of these chat ban complaints.
You are also missing the point of what the OP is trying to say. The SYSTEM is flawed. It needs to be fixed. No one has time for your opinions on whether what he wants to sell is garbage or not. Players should not be allowed to chat block other people merely because they feel like it.

The issue is that even if someone is waiting 20 lines before they spam the same thing, all it takes is 20 people spamming to take over the entirety of zone chat, which coincidentally just happens to be the same number of people who need to report you as spam to get you silenced for 24 hours.
I don't like automated mechanics people can abuse to grief other players, but I don't like not being able to use zone chat without having to go snow blind simply because every fifth player thinks its their own personal auction house.
Uh, if you want to sell stuff, use the auction house. If you want to team up with people, join a guild or press, you know, the queue button. Selling junk for gold on the public chat is right up there with cold-calling houses to sell amway.

While I don't think zone chat should be used for trades, there is nothing wrong with trying to sell items for gold, and the AH simply does not allow for that.
You may have your opinion on selling items for gold, but that's just that: your opinion. It shouldn't give you the right to contribute to a system-wide chat ban.
And there lies the problem with people complaining about this function. They call a system like this broken without knowing how it works, then denying how it works once they find out.
