Mounts Transfer And Companions Don't?

when i first hit 20 on my GF i bought a mount off the zen store knowing that id have it for future chars. I made a TR and i had a mount already so i wanted a companion i bought a neverrember guard and i got him but only on my TR and in store it doesnt say free like my mount does is this right? i thought mounts and companions transfered i dunno just feel like a bit of a ripoff a 5$ mount transfers but not the 20$ companion

    Zen shop mounts are account bound. You get a copy of any you buy for all characters. Companions are a single item. There is an interface thing to unbind them so they can be transferred. But it doesn't seem to be working.

    Yeah, the zen companions, save for the Ioun stone, are not worth it. Would be nice if they were account-wide so we get more bang for our buck.

    I had no idea zen mounts were cloned for all toons on the account. That's insanely awesome and makes the mount pricetag a bit more bearable.

    I have never tried it but there is the interface to unbind companions which you could mail to other characters, I assume it keeps its level when you do this but i'm not sure, again though I have never tried it so I'm not sure if it actually works but the interface is there.

    and yeah all the zen shop mounts are account wide
