Epic items with lvl 60 stats with low level req.

so i was browsing the AH the other night and found a "longsword of the stalwart bulwark". Epic sword for GF. and i bought it for peanuts really....

Great stats and slightly overpowered at 38...yeah, you heard right...required level:38 (!?)

So i started to look for more twink gear for my GF (main is CW) and found that several of the "stalwart bulwark" set pieces had required level below 60. Great news for my twink tank, but this can't be right.


Are there other classes that has these silly low req items drop in 60 dungeons or only GF? Anyone know?

    Are the item stats for level 38 and 60 identical?

    GF is the only one

    And pretty much all or most T1 Guardian items atm have lvl 38, 42, 49, 52 lvl requirements.
    And yes they are proper lvl 60 items stat wise.

    Bug or not, it's the way it is atm.

    I admit, I nearly punched myself in my parts when I noticed the gearing I was using at 60.......many of the pieces that worked well as a set where usable well below level 60.

    That wasn't the reason I was kicking myself, though. The reason for that is that they where also very affordable and I hadn't even gone looking for them earlier. Could have been playing with all that power for over 20 levels!

    topped dps meter in a dungeon at 39. rogue and wizard was not amused :)<3 cleave now.

    yeye, once lvl 38 the GF with purple weapon (and gloves) is just awesome!

    Get the Weapon and it's GG. Easy leveling.
