A Devoted Cleric named Beauty was hard pressed to keep up with her team as they battled a rather villainous beast with multiple tentacled eyes shooting various beams of death and destruction in all directions. The adventurers were hurt and in trouble, and Beauty was doing all she could to keep them up and fighting.
Until a stray beam of fire went past Beauty and struck a stack of barrels containing oils and other flammable liquids. The explosion propelled Beauty forward and into the floating monstrosity with such force it could not recover from the grievous wound inflicted as she impaled it with her own body.
As the rest of the team regained their feet the Guardian Fighter asked, "Say, where is our healer?"
The Trickster Rogue pointed and answered with a giggle, "Beauty is in the eye of the Beholder."
