Because if adds are swarming cleric, CWs are miserably failing and should reroll TRs.

For my cleric I has put considerable point's in crit, dmg, and my area attacks along with heal bonuses, and also picked my gear carefully (with life steal where appropriate too). I'm similair to Arnie with a bible and a med kit. If I'm playing on par with my level or just above, no matter what comes or how many, I'm usually fine, barely use a pot.

Be a Cleric of Some random generic War god! And cast beserk on your warriors, and when they die go, So in so god does not heal the weak. Then step over their corpse >:D

My NPC helper chick is having the same issue pulling agro from me. When the NPC can do it you know something is wrong for sure.

As far as I'm concerned, the companions are supposed to pull aggro from you. But it might explain why player clerics pull aggro if Cryptic designed the companion cleric to aggro mobs and that setting "leaked" to the player4 cleric.

Companion tank can out agro 15k GS GFs. Hilarious all around.

This is exactly what the good clerics have done. Anyone whining about cleric being weak is not built correctly. We are battle clerics and belong right in the mix with everyone else.

Actually, we aren't. We are devoted clerics. Not really backline sissies, but staying from frontline when possible.
Battle clerics are a whole different class that with luck we might see in the future..

There's at least a temp 'ghetto' fix for cleric aggro that the best clerics I know swear by. They zone in, remove all of their gear, make sure Soothe is slotted, put all of their gear back on, and they have much easier times with aggro.

I think it's pathetic the worst threat generating class in the game is GF, with the possible exception of the GWF. Seriously, GFs suck at generating threat. And this is from someone who has played one extensively. Just over a 12k GS, I've tried many things in an attempt to improve threat generation, even putting a greater plaguefire enchant on my weapon. I've went as much DPS as I can figure out how to go and still, threat gen for a GF sucks. I'd rather play a DC.

I really, really hope they never flag this as an "exploit", because if they do I will likely be insta-banned :p

Do you have to take off and reslot Soothe after getting naked or if you already had it slotted can you just get naked and put your gear right back on? Also, what is the point of stripping down and putting the gear back on? What is bugged about gear that requires you to get redressed after zoning?

Mobs are pretty forgiving if you give them a taste of what's to come.

On my cleric most boss fights go like this.

Starts out ok, but in a very short time adds spawn and they all head straight for me. At this point if I ever stand still my life bar just continually drops until im dead, so my only option is to run in circles around the fight and use my encounter powers when I have enough endurance to use dodge immediately after the cast. You can just forget at-will powers completely because they root you in place for too little of a return.

Then the melee guy who has been doing nothing but attacking the boss and not even trying to get out of red zones complains when he dies.

    sounds fun right?
