Ive seen a few different posts with a few different numbers for the soft caps for crit and arp. i know the %'s are about 22% for arp and 40% for crit but what is the stat number for those numbers? Im currently at 2250 arp(which is 21.9% so im fine there actually) but my crit score is at 2500 and only at 15% bonus. Does the bonus that it shows when you mouse over the stat only what your actually crit score is giving you? As in, it doesnt add in your Dex mod or any feats?

The crit soft cap has nothing at all to do with the % that your stat sheet shows. This is misinformation that I wish people would stop spreading. The crit soft cap is when crit starts to DR, which is about 2000 crit rating.

Crit probably continues to be worth slotting well past the "soft cap" though. Someone brought to my attention a flaw in some math that I did showing that crit is probably better than power (and thus probably better than recovery) until around 3700.

3k crit rating is 17.1%, compare now your 1.9k extra crit and decide if its worth the points.

I think there is confusion on which critical strike % you are talking about. Under Ratings - Critical Strike, or Under Offensive and Healing - Critical Chance?

i dont think its good getting your Crit over 3000 just to make a difference of 3% higher Crit Chance compared to those with only 2300. i'd rather put those extra stats on Recovery or Power. and Yes the optimum for Armor Pen is about 2300. Above that it has significant diminishing points

i know that... but my point is would you actually spend about 1k stats just to increase Crit rate by 5% maybe 4%?

i have seen a lot of players with about 4k power and 4k crit, and 1.5k armor pen, can i know the reason why most people over crit their TRs? crit stat doesnt seem to increase severity buy why?
