Thread moved to wrong forum, was thread title the issue?

The above thread was a discussion on the roles of all classes currently in the game, including Guardian/GWFs and how to balance them and the other classes which also need balancing.
A moderator moved the thread from general to The Barracks, which was not my intended area of discussion. The point of the thread was to promote a general conversation about class balance, not specific discussion of these 2 classes.
Is there some way a moderator could PM me, or move the thread back to general? Is it permissible to repost the original post and change the title to reflect the goal of discussion being a general class discussion?
