What in-foundry notifications

So, there I was, knee deep in rolling fog for my gypsy camp - BAM! Servers go down.

I wasn't paying attention to time, I was paying attention to detail allotments. Now I'm not sure if I lost any of my progress, but even 10 minutes lost can be a pain.

Point: I want an in-foundry notification system to tell me when the servers are coming down. I'm a sad panda now.

I didn't notice any notification in game until the 1 minute mark.

But to be fair, they did throw out plenty of notification that there would be a patch this morning.
There is a rumor floating around that I am working on a new foundry quest. It was started by me.

Well hell guys, you seem to make my whining null. Addendum - I want to be allowed to complain more about not a big enough notification. Some flashing neon saying, "Dummy, save your progress"...that sort of thing :p

I think most of your changes are saved locally, even if you don't use the Save button. It will detect those changes, and offer to load them when you get back in the editor (such as after a crash).

I'm not sure about changes you make in the 3D editor though.

Not sure about 3d editor either, but the Foundry autosaves itself so often I've never lost more than a minute or two of work.

You get the notifications if you are in the game testing your level, just not when in the editor mode. Not sure if you can change your chat options to display system messages and keep that permanently open. However, as the others said, on a crash it seems to auto save and asks you if you want to load up the auto save (if you choose no then it will load up your last manual save and THEN you lose all your work). There's never any point not loading up the auto-save.
