Wondering if anyone knows of a way. Seems anything I don't want anymore has to be sold for scrap at a merchant.

What would be the point of binding the items in the first place then?
You aren't meant to sell whatever items you don't need, not to another player that is.

I can't think of a game I've played that would let you unbind gear. That's the point of having gear that binds - to take it out of the player economy, so that people have to farm more if they need replacements.

If there were a way to unbind gear at all, then there would be no reason to bind it in the first place.
If your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty floral bonnet I will end you.

You haven't played enough f2p games then, plenty do but all require cash. Although I don't see the point in unbinding equipment, but I do think unbinding companions/outfits should be allowed.

Some gear could be bind to the account. This is specially good for free items you don't want to use like pink dye for a grumpy dwarf character. LoL

Account bound items exist, and they don't work.

Try sending yourself BoA stuff you got in the Caturday pack. GG

Some gear is bound to an account (zen bought horses are and yes they work). Others are bound to a character (special companions). I think there is a plan to let players unbind character bound items but it has not been implemented yet.
