I can not believe the amount of fun I had with this Ellindar Foundry mission. It made me forget about all the exploits and everything that has hindered this game from the start and made me enjoy myself. Up until I first read his initial post I had mixed feelings about the game on whether or not it could pull through. But after playing it and competing in his contest I realize now that this game really isn't about the best end game stuff. The longevity and true nature of fun in the game revolves around the foundry authors and the community.

Once again I would like to thank you Ellindar1 for breathing new life into this game for me. And PWE and Cryptic learn from this guy :P

    I do plan on re-running this one again. I got stuck in a hole somewhere, but I suspect that was due to my own mental problems than anything else.

    I think this is true, what will hold up in the long run is the Foundry & Community and the Foundry is the essence of the community.

    Also I can't get your link to work at all. just fyi :confused:

    Zed I am going to be honest here that up until your post I had almost come to the conclusion none of it was worth it. I am embarrassed to say how many hours it went into making this thing and the details to make sure it played correctly. So some of the responses I got were really fantastic and also helpful but then of course came the ones where people were less than wow'd. And I had started to get a bit down on whether anyone truly enjoys the stuff that's created here. So I'm just going to say that this put a little faith back in me and I'm still working to better the quest even now. Apoc and I ran thru and I'm going to add a little more wow even to the ramps and the journey up the tower in reference to visual.

    I can't thank you enough for posting this as now I'm actually excited to finish the polish on this and get to work on the conclusion... Vraylech's Inferno - The Nine Circles of Hell. Which will also contain a hunt just like this for just as much AD that continues across all 9 circles!!!

    Since starting this game in closed beta my opinion has always been... the grinders and pvp'rs will come and go like all mmo's, but the true staying power of this game will be what the players can think up next. I hope it will always hold true.

    PS - I would appreciate anyone who likes the quest enough to submit it for spotlight in the foundry spotlight forums. Thanks again!

    I have to agree with zed. I love how much time you put into this quest and appreciate the enjoyment it gave me. I seriously spent about 7 hours in your quest today trying to figure out that darn easter egg and had an awesome time doing it. Way to bring it to another level sir. Those riddles were helpful without being obvious and the fortress was awesome scenery from far away. Messing with the Y axis can be torture, so for that I salute you.

    Also I will gladly submit it once I figure out how to submit a foundry spotlight quest!

    I just wanted to throw in that this is the best quest I have yet to play in the foundry. I could not believe the setting and how well it was pulled off. The sheer size of the project is crazy and the amount of detailing put on the inside was crazy! The quest was fun, hunting for his egg was fun, the entire thing was just fun! I am a subscriber and I hope you continue to put out these types of quests.

    If anyone here has not run through this yet, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! (a tough solo but do-able, perfect with 2 people!)
