Why Mythweavers?: Background:
Women are the dominant gender in drow culture so to be a bit butch and tomboyish would not be out of the ordinary. Think female black widows when it comes to their males, males fill the subservient role, women very much hold all the power.
Since its all about houses and inter-house politics, Celeste has been exiled. One doesn't have to kill in order to advance oneself, you just need to remove those on the ladder above you. Celeste was more lenient with her servants than other drow, and so an enemy household started a rumor that implied that she was having relations with one of her servants (something that is not really viewed all that well in the aristocratic circles – kind of same as in the olden days) and it brought about her downfall and was stripped of her title by her house and exiled, which was viewed as a much more fitting fate for her than killing her, given how proud of her house and social standing she was.
She can be a bit tomboyish and butch. She has been exiled after being falsely accused of naughty dealings with a servant. She is ashamed of losing her house, her title and her standing and status and being left with nothing. Since the outside world shuns drow in general, and the drow world shunned her as well, she had nothing left, and that was worse than death for her because she somehow had to live on like that.
Celeste did not have feelings other than protection for her servants, she didn’t want to see him put to death because he had been with her for many years, so she when given a choice (kill him to prove she did not feel for him, or both be exiled) she chose to be exiled. He followed her along with the rest of her house of servants. They accompanied her to Neverwinter, where she sought to make a fresh start.....
