Hi Aroharainbow, you can find Cleric builds in the Temple Section of the Class Forums.
For your convenience, here is a link to The Master List of Class Builds

Also companion choice has got an impact for cleric. Dont take the wizard, he is useless imo. When I as a cleric switched to a guardian companion I did much better.
Check if you are not undergeared and have enchanted it with usefull stuff like armor penetration. Give your companion runes that give some of his stats to you that will help you stay up longer for now.

My biggest tip would be to keep to skirmishes and dungeons until you have level 3 in Sunburst unlocked. That's made a huge difference for me running solo content. Also, never burn stamina in combat except to avoid telegraphed attacks. Don't slide backwards, go forward and swing around. It's much the same dance that works as for a CW. And focus on raising your recovery and life steal rates above other things.

Gear, companion, and choice of skills all matter of course. To solo I recommend a high power rating, but you also need some defense and some armor pen (seems to help even though its really resistance pen?).

I have a lot of aoe focus to clear out the ads, then anything tougher is cut down with your at-wills, astral seal must be applied to tougher mobs. It should be obvious but your feats and skills should be mostly damage based? Like the one that gives you 10% more damage or whatever it is(sorry, details escape me) for hitting a mob a few times.

Sliding backwards works just fine to get out of a red ring, so does left or right. ????? Not sure what that comment was about.

The daily firebomb is pretty impressive. I have the wolf founder's companion but surely a tank store guy or something out of the AH will work wonders, something that can get to 30 is recommended of course.

Just because you can heal does NOT mean you should not use a potion if you get hit bad.

noroblad: It's only a small advantage that I've noticed compared to choosing one of the other directions. (Which functionally work, yes, that I did not question.) I mean, face to face, slide forward and turn so that you are attacking the enemy from the back. Also, Sunburst has an effective radius and if you want to do damage, you have to be near your target.

Companion really isnt as big a deal as people make it out to be .. I ran pretty much the entire game solo with a dps pet. Daunting Light and Forgemasters Flame are pretty much the must have skills for a solo cleric til you can get Astral Shield. Forgemasters Flame used with Divinity will be the single best heal you will get as a cleric til AS and is a massive step up in self healing over healing word or sunburst. You just have to remember to stay near the targeted creep and prioritize other targets to allow for maximum duration on the spell. Daunting Light is the clerics most damaging encounter spell even if it is a little awkward to use at time.

Dps or tank pet are fine. Healer and mage are mostly useless for a solo cleric. 30 levels helps your pet stay alive better than 15, is all, and you can put more gear on it for more dps. There are 10 or so dps pets to pick from, all are pretty much equal in the long run, badger does aoe but that mostly gets it killed from what I have heard (?). I am not going to buy one to find out :)
