Unable to Authenticate??

As the title says. Was playing, logged out to change characters, now unable to authenticate...

    Authentication/Log in servers are down. No ETA.

    FFS, I was switching toons to get more of those 18 hr asset tasks started :( ... now I have empty Q's. Now I cannot log back in. JOY.

    Odd thing is, I can't authenticate here, but I can't on my STO account either. Glad other people have this problem though, was thinking maybe I got the infamous gateway hack everyone was talking about. But its not just me afterall. Miser loves company.

    my friends still in, so servers are still up but I cant relog. just asked him to log out and test it now he cant get back in ether.

    Perhaps if they didn't re-authenticate every time you switched characters, it would save the server a few million hits a day.

    Or actually put in change character at the beginning instead of waiting 6 months down the road to do it. lol

    Great use of notifications there folks, only reason I found out was a purchase wasn't working in-game so I tried to restart the client - now I can't get back in again.
