As a fighter, half-orcs, dwarves, and humans seem to be by far the best choices. I was just wondering if that really matters in the end game though? Do the stats eventually balance out? Would an Elf GWF end up being a lot weaker in the end than a half-orc GWF?
Just wondering for those of you who have level 60 characters, thanks!

You left Halflings as a good race for fighter, +2, Con and Dex, +3% Deflection, CC resistance. Halflings make really good fighters.
Now most other races can also really benefit fighters even if they do not have the best racial stats for it. Tiefling lowers the power of mobs that attack them and they do +5% damage against targets under 50% health. Very good for fighters. Elves get a straight +1% crit and with their dex can be a fighter with more crit than any other race.
But yeah race does not matter that much at higher levels. I'm playing a Drow cleric... Double healing at campfire racial ability for cleric... pretty useless. And I top damage charts all the time.

You still get dex and that 1% crit which can help you keep up, then just put the other stat into Int for the extra recharge.
May not be the absolute optimal thing, but that extra FLAT recharge becomes extremely strong after you've hit your recovery caps.
So it's like, 2 % recharge versus 4% health, 2% combat adv dmg, or 2% dmg/stamina.
Really not that big of a deal TBH.
Orc racial is better though, considering crit severity is a very rare stat to find and you get so much crit% already.
