Thread title says it all. Thanks to those 4. The rest of you, well, I don't know what your problem is.
Man you are the best troll ever. A 2 hour quest that no one has the patience for and a 2 minute quest that is completely pointless and a terrible way to try and prove whatever you are trying to prove. Kudos bro.
I like it, you go from one end of the spectrum to the other and complain about both.
There is a rumor floating around that I am working on a new foundry quest. It was started by me.

Alright, I have held off as long as I could. I can't do it anymore. This one blew the limit.
1. STOP b*tching at everyone for not playing your quests when WE ARE ALL trying to get our quests played.
2. I wouldn't play a single one of your quests with the way you've acted on this forum. DOES YOUR MOTHER KNOW YOU'RE ON HERE?
3. Your two hour quest consisted of NOTHING but EMPTY ROOMS WITH A SINGLE BARREL AND RUNNING TO THEM OVER AND OVER AGAIN TO DO MEANINGLESS TASKS.
4. Create a NEW acct, so we don't know who you are AND START OVER, because at this point, NO ONE wants to deal with your adolescent behavior!!!
I like it, you go from one end of the spectrum to the other and complain about both.
People talked like time was the main issue, so I tried to give them something they could play. It's discouraging that I can't get people to try it out.

But you missed the point (as you seem to often do), most people want that sweet spot (15-20 minute) to do their daily foundry with.

People who only care about the daily foundry are the ones missing the point.. I was hoping people would play for the enjoyment of the game rather than some sort of virtual compensation.
You will get people to play, just not many. You are the one who chose to make your quest that long and had resisted suggestions to break it into sections. The vast majority of players want a quest 20-30 minutes. I personally will play anything up to an hour. 2 hours is a large investment on an unproven author. If it were an author who I already knew and loved, it would be different. Also, your attitude on the forums has not helped you at all.

I'm talking about my 2 minute quest, not the 2 hour one.

There are that, but those are rare. People who "can" play but probably limited in time so they want to utilize the time as best as possible (i.e. family player who maybe have 1 hour to play a day/week will want to get that sweet spot) other players may or may not be interested. It is also about RoI (Return on Investment) everyone has goals (get higher level, get certain gear and such0 so may not have time to play 2 hour mission just for the fun of it with little return (virtual return in terms of levels, powers or items) 2 hour mission can be invested in dungeon (challenging AND may have a chance to get item at the end)
Right now I'm trying to play all the mission that people review my mission (assuming it is short and not 2 hours long) heh I got maybe 2-3 hours a day and want to play as many mission as possible.

That's why I said "most" people. There are plenty who play for the enjoyment of the game but to be honest some of the comments and remarks you have made on these forums have made you out to be a complete ****** and the people you are trying to get to play your quests will see that and refrain from playing on that fact alone.
But, you have been told this already, several times and I'm pretty sure you will reply with another infamously douchy comment soon enough and further alienate yourself from those people.

I'm not a brown-nose. Don't have it in me. To be honest, most people I've been snappy toward were complete jerks, and I'm not all that remorseful.
I've been relatively patient today considering someone came in here calling me a troll and I didn't even reply. Also didn't reply to the guy trying to buy reviews in General Discussion with AD who came in here insulting me.

Truth. And do you know why the Daily Foundry has this limit? This is because the devs have figured -- through arcane and convoluted magical rituals (and possibly statistics) -- that this is the average time that the average player spends on a single quest without getting antsy, bored, or frustrated. Personally, I prefer this timeframe myself because I suffer from eyestrain and have to take periodic breaks from the game to rest my eyes.
I'm not saying that we should always pander to the masses. In fact, to a certain extent, I admire your stance on remaining true to your vision. I'm a stubborn contrarian myself, and while I speak and listen sweetly, I sometimes do the exact opposite of what people tell me to do just for the heck of it. But I think, on the whole, that you'll find it more rewarding to understand human nature rather than trying to change it. People think two minutes is too short. They also think two hours is too long. If you want to play with people, listen to them once in a while. I've learned this the hard way.
Make a quest 15-45 minutes long, wuhsin, and I personally guarantee you that I'll go ahead and play it. I'll also leave you a review, but that's a given since I've reviewed basically every single foundry quest I've played.

Thanks for the support. I'll try to hit that sweet spot with my next quest, though I'm still gathering data on what people want before I start working on anything.

I don't need to buy reviews tough guy But it is something fun that hasn't been done yet. Game on.

I can tell you what people want.
For it to be shorter.
For it to be longer.
For it to be easier.
For it to be harder.
For it to have less story.
For it to have more story.
For it to have more traps.
For it to have less traps.
For it to be darker.
For it to be lighter.
Better loot.
More Experience.
More exploration.
Less exploration.
I could go on and on but I think you get the gist of it.
On a more serious note, the best thing to do is to provide a balance of all things.

You observe yourself how contradictory people are, so you must have a good understanding of my frustration.
You observe yourself how contradictory people are, so you must have a good understanding of my frustration.
People are not contradictory, they are individual.
To "complicate" it further, even a single person does not enjoy the same thing all the time. What comes to mind is a comment by Macaulay who observed about Seneca's writings that, "to read Seneca straightforward is like dining on nothing but anchovy sauce".
I don't want only one type of quest. Presumably, it is the same for others, too.

Seriously dude? I'm doing everything I can to now make sure no one plays your quests. I did go in your quest...want my honest opinion? Horrid! It was terrible. There was nothign there. Big empty rooms, non-sensical story, and then you come on here complaining because your quest is so awesome and no one is playing it.
I know I'm insulting you, but it's ok, you have been doing it relentless for a week to everyone else.
You know, I might understand it if you had a smidgen of talent to back it up...but you don't. Your quest is terrible, badly designed, poorly laid out, poorly written, and just screams of mediocrity.
As someone else said...create a new account, LEARN how to use the tools you are presented with, LEARN your audience (as I have said COUNTLESS times to you) and give a good BALANCE to your quest. If you just want to cater to people who like big empty rooms with zero thought put into how they look, story that isn't really that good, bad writing and wasting hours of their time....stop complaining about not getting any plays. And stop blaming everyone else. We are all trying to do the same thing...and surprisingly, most of us are having good luck with it.
Grow up and get humble....
My quest was deleted in July of 2013. There were no issues, it had not violated any rules. Was deemed a bug. That quest is still missing.

Update, I got more reviewers, with a five star rating and two four stars. So you guys keep trying to put me down in every thread I make. It only reflects badly on you.
