How long until ingame mail expires?

With the AH going down so much, some of us are having to resort to mailing stuff to ourselves if we want to keep playing - but I can't seem to find any information as to how long email remains in your inbox before it expires. Does anyone know?

    I have mail in my CO in box from two years ago. I don't honestly think it expires at all. Ever.

    Nothing to worry about, as the other guy stated, in CO I still have mail in my box from years ago.
