So ever since I learned you can change the field of vision I have been having to type in /gfxsetdefaultfov 75 everytime I log in, is there a permanent way to make this stay or am I supposed to type this in everytime I log in one of my characters?
In your gameprefs.pref file (cryptic studios/neverwinter/live/localdata) there is a line (8th down for me):
PrefEntry GfxSettings.DefaultFOV ##
Copy this file to another directory for safety.
Open the 'original' with notepad.
Edit the ## to whatever you want (75 in your case).
Save the file.
Load up/log in to NW normally.
You may have to zone once to get it to set in on a particular character (since it was using the old default), but after that, it should default to FOV 75 henceforth on that toon.
Remember, COPY THE ORIGINAL FILE TO A SAFE PLACE BEFORE YOU EDIT STUFF, just incase you screw something up, you'll have a "clean" copy to fix things with.

Make it a bind. I myself have three buttons on my keyboard I don't do anything with, but change the FOV with.
Example bind would be;
/bind [ gfxsetdefaultfov 75
/bind ] gfxsetdefaultfov 65
And another button for FOV 55, handy in closer quarters such as dungeon corridors.
Once you do this, then save a bind file, and reload it on your other characters.. the binds will be persistent.

I'm currently not aware of a way to save this option, sorry!
