Why don't your stats change when you switch between clothes/armor?

I've watched my stats and they don't change at all when I switch to my "Fashion items". Is this some sort of weird bug?

I'm gonna rip your head off and make it my puppet! (NwN2)

I believe it's just a cosmetic toggle

That's what it looks like to me as well.

Nope, no bug. It is just a cosmetic overwrite/toggle for your character.
