You know the ones.. Like that Ioun Stone of Might or that Jagged/Dancing Blade... ISoM can't get high enough in levels to be able to equip the last equipment slot... WHICH it says it can in it's description. False advertising? Jagged/Dancing Blades are broken and just stand around not moving once combat is initiated. No movement other than to swing at things that get nearby. Oh! For those of you who think that the Stones can't be killed because they're just lights going around your head... That's just a costume feature of the companion. The ACTUAL companion is just invisible and follows you around. Pay close attention to your surroundings when you move around. You'll notice an invisible "something" following you around in certain situations. It can still die just like the cat. It's just difficult to get it to do so. Even that panther that Founders get. It's sooo slow to engage targets and when it finally does, your target is usually dead by then.

Panther costs $200 to get. Expensive piece of junk that's only good for aesthetics.

ISoM just plain EXPENSIVE to get. Broken with false advertising.

Blades time consuming to obtain. Time = Money. That AND they're broke.

Anyone else have any other companions they'd like to add to this list? I know a few of them are slow to engage in fights or have other issues with them. No one has any opinion on the angel due to it just not being available yet. What? Another like 120 more days before the first ones will pop up in the AH or something? I'm sure a bunch of people out there have their alt lists filled up with characters that are able to pray. They're all probably logging them in every day just to be able to get those angels. I expect the AH will get flooded with them eventually?

The jagged dancing blade actually attacks. You just need to move it closer to the target.

I understand what you are saying and the Panther did sort of feel useless until level 30..

At 30 though it will prone whatever you are focused on every 5 seconds or so.

Somewhere in time, they will release those pet upgrade options listed as unavailable. Until then there are not a lot of Purple pet options.

I'm glad I started searching online for information about the jagged dancing blade before I bought it. Just wish I had searched the AH before farming 14k glory. Aside from being broken, I was very surprised to see it selling for only 30k AD.

The only pets worth it are the cat and the Ioun stone of might because they add to your stats. Don't bother with any other pets.

    *fixed

Please don't mislead people into getting ioun stone of might. It's uncommon (green con) and therefore won't level up as high as the rare (blue con) stone of allure allowing for the 3rd equipment slot. It also contains 3 offensive runestone slots rather then the allure's 2 offensive 1 defensive.

But yes, the only companions honestly worth purchasing for end game content are these two. Which of the two is better, is a whole other debate. I recommend Ioun Stone of Allure for the simple fact you have a little Uranus orbiting your head versus a creepy cat following you around and meowing at you like its in heat at times.
