It seems that Adventurer doesnt give 25% speed. instead it gives only 20% more speed. For instance, when I slot it into the first slot of 'Explore Local Area' job, it only reduces the time taken to 48mins instead of to 45 mins. Please check it. thanks

I think it's because the base version gives 5% (which doesn't change the time at all).

Yes, I understand that. The base time that's given before you start seems to be the time for the merc, which is supposed to give 5% although it doesn't seem to effect the speed. The difference between the merc speed and the adventurer speed is 20%. I'm not saying that's the way it should be, but I'm wondering if that's what the situation is.

nope. check the man-at-arms bonus speed. it works well. 10% and it reduces from 1hour to 54mins. thats 10% alright. but not adventurer. and for now, although its seems broken too, i dont want to brought more issue regarding the optional slot bonus speed.

yes. if i'm using two adventurers on a job and it's a four hour job, using two adventurers should bring it down by half. and that isn't happening.

From what I've seen, 100% means it cuts the time by half. It doesn't mean 100% of the total time. Else people could complete tasks immediately that allow 4 assets to be assigned by inserting 4x 25%

no it doesnt work like that herumet, yes it is true when the asset is slotted in the first slot, say when you slot a man-at-arms on the first slot, it reduces the time by 10% and when you slot another man-at-arms in the 2nd slot, it reduces the speed, seems like there is some sort of cutoff applied on the 2nd slot. the problem here is on the first slot, adventurer and hero, doesnt give the supposedly bonus speed but it works fine for man-at-arms

It is working as intended they just use a different math system than you might expect.
Let us do the math on a 1 hour task

You start off with a base speed of 100%
You add an adventurer for a speed of 125%
Now you take the number of minutes and divide by the speed. so 60/1.25=48 mins

Now lets say you have a merc as well for a speed total of 130%
    60/1.30=46 mins 9 seconds

Open the Launcher. Click Options near the top. Check Disable on-demand patching. This will download another couple of gigs.
